Some thoughts just off the top of my head...haven't re-watched my tape yet, but here's my first impressions:

-Keith Davis started off poorly but came on strong at the end. Supported the run very well and laid a crushing blow to the receiver on 4th down to stop KC's drive at the end of the game. He did take one of the worst angles in the history of football on KC's second touchdown, but he seems to understand where the play is going to develop and is always around the ball.

-Romo was excellent. Set up in his drops very quickly and was great on all the crossing routes he hit. For the first time, he looked like he really had a handle on the game situation and where all his receivers were. Did miss one pass to Randal Williams that would have been a touchdown.

-Kalen Thornton was all over the field again. He is relentless. He has tremendous edge speed and is surprisingly strong. He also doesn't just settle for an outside move everytime. He has a quick and strong swim move to the inside that he employed often. Love this guy.

Kenyon Coleman and Eric Ogbogu applied good pressure. Ogbogu looks a lot stronger and was bulling over lineman and was around the QB a lot. Coleman was around the ball constantly, and played the run well on a couple of plays.

Anderson ran the ball well. Looks quicker definitely. Reshard Lee was close to breaking a couple of other runs for touchdowns...needed to break one last tackle on them. Read his blockers well on his touchdown run.

Jason Witten is an animal.

That's good news. Did they see action vs the Chiefs first team?

I didn't notice Hunter except on the touchdown...so I guess that's good or bad depending on your viewpoint. He wasn't horribly out of position, but again he needs to make a play there.

I think Ogbogu and Coleman mostly ran against second teamers and beyond...I'd have to go back and watch to make sure...Still looked good though.

So was it good enough to watch a replay tomorrow on the NFL Channel?

A castrateable offense for a departed quarterback in many eyes.

Romo seemed to settle down and play the position for the first time tonight, IMO.

A big step up.

I was happy when Thorny signed after the draft and hoped he'd show enough to make the practice squad.

Now, I'm hoping he can make a season long impact as a dearly needed speed rusher and avoid the dreaded rookie wall due to playing as a reserve.

Kenyon Coleman and Eric Ogbogu applied good pressure. Ogbogu looks a lot stronger and was bulling over lineman and was around the QB a lot. Coleman was around the ball constantly, and played the run well on a couple of plays.
Indeed.

Strong Dog and Oggie should be solid wave players on the defensive line.

Anderson ran the ball well. Looks quicker definitely. Reshard Lee was close to breaking a couple of other runs for touchdowns...needed to break one last tackle on them. Read his blockers well on his touchdown run.
I still prefer to see Richie splitting carries with Jones over Eddie George.

George should be limited to short yardage and goalline work, IMO.

Jason Witten is an animal.

I just wish Witty could run like a deer in the open field. As Parcells recently talked about, he just doesn't seem like a go getter running after the catch.

Regardless, Witten will challenge for Pro Bowl honors this year and trail only Keyshawn Johnson in receptions, IMO.
