It can be good news if we win the next 2 games. I guess it is also good news if we go 1-1, IF we can run the table after Tampa.

It is bad for the giants, it is only good for the Cowboys unless we start putting together wins.

I guess this is the best answer I heard. The Cowboys do have to put together a winning streak now. I believe if the Dallas Cowboys make a statement by blowing the Colts out, I believe that the Cowboys will go underfeated for the rest of the of the season and the playoffs.

I hope your right, however this team has shown in the past the ability to go out and win a big game only to turn around and flounder afterwards. I have hope for this team but they must show consistency in their play.

That's the key word we been lacking the whole season. Consistency. I believe Parcells should've saved our record a lil earlier lets say the first game Romo should've been starting. He clearly beat Bledsoe out. I believe the Cowboys record would've been better than this. I believe we would've been underfeated by now. Bledsoe made many mistakes. I believed Keith Davis should've been splitting time with Pat Watkins. I didn't think Pat Watkins could carry the load by himself.
Now I believe that Bobby Carpenter should get some valueable playing time to prove himself as the player that everyone thinks we got.

Their starting left tackle (Luke Petitgout) broke his leg against the Bears and will be out 6-8 weeks.

I don't dwell on what we could have done only deal with the cards I have in hand.

It's nothing to do but move foward because the damage is already done. So it's time to make sumthin change around here and win some games consistently.

Justin Tuck out for the season - Doesn't really matter
Michael Strahan out for the season - They still have Umenyiora & Kiwaunka
Amani Toomer out for the season - This is a major loss.
Lavar Arrington Out for the season - This could be considered a positive for the Giants by some.

When you start discussing other teams injury problems, bad things sometimes follow.

Losing Luke Petitgout is a much bigger problem (plus, I think Strahan is only out for a couple more weeks). When Eli went to pass against the Bears, it was clear that his rhythm was disrupted by Whiff-field's ineptness. They could correct that to a degree, but Whiff-field is Torrin Tucker level bad. Meaning they'll have to use a lot of Shockey/Shiancoe/Finn/and even Barber to help out which totally changes their dynamic of their offense.

This is true. Petitigout is a on again off again player, but replacing him with a turnstile doesn't bode well. If they have to keep Shockey back to block and Toomer is out; Petitigout going down becomes more like domino rally.
Strahan is not out for the season. At least it hasn't been reported. Where is your source?

I see Strahan one of those players that won't retire till he is forced. I think for him it's about money now. He will take the paycheck until they won't give it to him anymore.

He has not been ruled out for the season but a doctor did say that he would be shock if he was able to play this season. Strahan first was thinking he would be out about two weeks but reality has set in on him and he knows he will be lucky to be back the end of the season. As a lineman he must be able to push off that foot and he is still in a cast, not to mention rehab. The injury normally take about 10 weeks to heal. He will be lucky to be back this season but he has not been put on IR or anything.
