View Full Version : Predict Player of the Game Ponies vs Boyz

I have a feeling Marion Barber is our player of the game this week. See him driving the ponies defense crazy running out of the backfield and catching balls in the flats.
On defense I am looking at T-New to shutdown Starvin Marvin and show morons like Pat Kirwin, who the real shutdown corner in the NFL is.
Prediction: Boys 35 - Ponies 28
Late Barber TD run wins it...

Ditka returns for a three TE formation, Ditka 47 Colts 0, he awards the points to his former team and Dallas improves to 6-4.

Offensive Player of the game, Marion Barber, break out game, over 200 yards.
Defensive Player of the game, Terrence Newman, earning Respect, 2 INTs several passes defended, Punt return for a Touchdown.

I predict my boy TG comes back with a vengeance tomorrow with a couple of loooong TDs.
And in honor of his alma mater's win today, sneaks TWO Buckeye decals onto his helmet this game.

I agree.
This has been a set up for two weeks. We knew we didn't need him to beat Arizona.

Marion Barber III racks up the tough yards late in the 2nd half, and punches in a TD late in the game to put the nail in the coffin. Colts D gets tired and can't handle the fresh legs of MB3 (who could be a starter on 15 other NFL teams).

If we win the player of the game will come from our defensive secondary. I have no doubt that our offense will produce and JuJo/Barber will run the ball well. The question is will our defense step up to the plate.

I was. I think if any Cowboy is Player of the Game, it will be a defensive player or a WR, or QB. To me RB or TE seems unlikely.

Fair enough. I think if we have a Player of the Game, it might have to be a defensive player. Someone (or eleven) needs to step up on that side of the ball today...or it'll be a long day.

im with you on that... for some reason henry always seems a step slow. and Wayne is anything but slow Henry needs to step it up the most on D.. i cant wait to see manning challenge Newman its gonna be awsome
