Take Roethlisboerger out of that first group he's an overrated quarterback and really more of a good game manager

Big Ben has got away from the things that have made him good in this league. Even the playcalling has got away from it.
Im down on him right now and might put Rivers or Romo ahead of him.
For 1 game with a good team i'd still take Favre over most of the guys on your list though.

not for one game, im talking about being your starting QB now until...well he's done or someone better comes along.

I know I was just saying I think if you put Favre on a good team for 1 game or even 1 year he would still perform at a very high level. As good as anyone probably.

Peton Manning and Brady.
But that's it.
And there is a chance (based upon the rest of the season) there may not be a single QB I would take over the guy.

Funny thing is he is 323 yards behind Vick in passing and he didnt play in the first 5 games.
He'll be a better Quarterback then Vick but in my opinion thats not saying much.

He's on the right track as long as he doesn't start doing any chunky soup commercials.

yea, I'd cut that 1st list in half and fit Romo in there somewhere.........
If he hasnt already, there are some serious late nite vid sessions by alot of NFL def. coordinators trying to find patterns, habits etc to take some edge off of Romo.............the little things will get studied
Up to Romo to keep improving, learning and studying in retaliation

I agree with you on that one, then again those top 7 take Big Ben out, and give Brady and Manning the top two, is very dabatable after that. Of course I wouldn't put McNabb in the top 7 but some think he's a football god so i'll give it to em.

VICK IS AN OVERRATED PASSING QUARTERBACK. He should be a running back. He got a powerful arm, but no accuracy.

while this can be debated for awhile, isnt it safe to say we at least have a top QB in the league at this point?:starspin

Some may feel it is safe but I don't. We may have a QB that is playing better than a lot of other QB's right NOW but as happy as I am with Romo, he still hasn't put his time in. We really won't know just how good he is until the end of this year and maybe into next year for sure. If he can finish this year anywhere close to the level he is playing now, he will be a serious mention as one of the best QB's in the NFL. Personally, I really want to see how he does with a full preseason, and a big bulls eye on his back from day one.
Once again, I am thrilled with his play but I have seen many hot shot QB's come out the gate like a cannon and then the next year their warts start to show.
Regarding Big Ben, he is very overrated and if I'm correct, he had the least amount of pass attempts per game by any other starting QB in the league last year. This year he is being asked to contribute more and he is struggling with his new found responsibilities.

Romo is the best of them all...not really but he's coming along nicely!
Right now I would say he's behind the likes of Payton Manning, McNabb, Brees, Palmer, Brady....

I want to see how he does in the playoffs (assuming we get there). Where the pressure is on and each game is single elimination. After our success or failure there, then I will be able to make a determination on where he stands.
