not to take a thing from Romo

but what Staubach did in 1971 when the defense could just kill the receivers is still mind boggling today...

having said that I hope Tony breaks all the good records from all of our QB's and in the NFL

It won't be easy, but he's capable of getting the trifecta.

As they say, records are made to be broken.

I thought nobody would rush for more than Emmitt's 25 TD's in 1995.

I've been watching this thing called Cowboy football for a long time...and I've never seen anything quite like Tony Romo.

And this bubble ain't gonna burst...he's not turning into a pumpkin at midnight...

He's the real deal.

Well done on this one by Parcells.

The league records for yards per attempt and passer rating are seemingly out of his reach.

The league record for completion percentage is 70.55% by Ken Anderson in 1982. Kenny's somewhere out there not breathing quite as easily as he was a few hours ago.

Hola Mr Dave.

Hey, I've always said, I would be more than happy to give Parcells credit. I have also said that he was a favorite of mine while in NY but that I had no idea who the heck this coach I have been seeing for the past few years is.

The philosophy of "bus driver" qb's blah blah blah was just beyond annoying.

With Romo, that garbage is out the window.

I have no problem saying that Parcells did a good job by giving Romo a chance...a bit late perhaps, but that's splitting hairs.

You are a stand up guy, no doubt. Parcells gave us fluff while getting us gold.
Might not have been the best road to take but it seems to be getting us there. We have to be happy either way.

I've also always said that I'm a fan of the team, not a fan of being right.

I think Parcells struck gold with Romo and in a sense, truly saved his butt in doing so...because this team, with Bledsoe, was going no where.

You need to look to Jerry on that one I think.

The coaching staff deserves major respect for their development of this guy. MAJOR respect.

You need to look to Jerry on that one I think.

I think you need to look at Bledsoe's preseason performance. He made it impossible to pull the plug.

I think Parcells new that from game one. I have the opinion that Jones didn't think so. Either way, yeah Parcells saved his butt, but he built the equipment to do it.

The way I understand it, more credit belongs to Sean Payton for the discovery of Romo then Parcells. In fact, wasn't it Payton that talked Parcells into signing him as an undrafted free agent?

In any case, credit should go to Parcells for having the patience in his development. When Romo did come onboard, he showed enough to the ol' ball coach that made him believe that there was something special about this kid that would justify keeping him for as long as they have on their roster.

It's really good to see an investment like this one finally start to pay-off HUGE for the Cowboys.

The times they are a changin'...especially for our beloved Cowboys. ;)

My comments exactly, Juke.........I have seen all the Cowboy greats and Romo seems to be reaching new heights each game he plays. He has the two "C's"........he is cocky and confident and his teammates love him! What more could you ask for?:)

It's funny to go read the Giants forums and see them crying about "wiping the smirk off his face" or "breaking his legs in the next game." They are so jealous they can't see straight and it makes me giggle. I don't think he's too cocky...just confident. He tries his best to show humility but you can only contain a smile so long while you're doing so well.
