Just heard Jay Glazer on Fox Sports Radio that he spoke with Reggie Bush after the game and he was in alot of pain in his shoulder. Said that Reggie told him that he was getting an X-Ray on it.

I heard it on one of those sports updates, no link.

I could care less about playing a team at its best- as far as I am concerned the more good players our opponents are without the happier I am. I WANT WINS.

Oh, he'll play...and I really want to see him play...

I think Colston and Horn will both play too.

I don't think Horn will play. But, Horn is not the same player he was two or three years ago anyway. He is probably their third or fourth receiving option behind Bush, Colston, and maybe Henderson.

Yeah I never got this whole "playing a team at its best" thing. I'm not wishing injury on anyone, but I certainly won't mind if Brees or Bush don't play. If it gets the Cowboys a first round bye, I'm all for it.

Parcells will still have our Cowboys prepared for whether Bush is fully healthy or not. Just like he worked on a gameplan for the Titans with and without Vince Young.

Me too, i could care less about playing a teams best, we have done that now with 2 really good teams, the Giants, and colts. I want wins, so we possibly can get a bye week, our 2 biggest opponents that we have to worry about are the Saints at 8-4 and Seattle at 8-4.

Id rather build confidence with this team, not overconfidence, but attitude its our destiny with Romo this year and Gramatica, kicker.

We still have a young team, and now with Greg Ellis out for the year, our young defensive linemen just dont have that killer attitude, experience, yet. Get them in the playoffs with a weeks rest, and then,, let the chips fall where they are.

To me, guys like Chris Canty, Marcus Spears, Burnett, need to step up just alittle more on defense.

Just remember what happened to Seattle in the Super Bowl, they didnt have enough pass rush against the defending super bowl champs. So, you have to have just alittle more experience in pass rush, and defense, then you can go.

You're right...Horn is averaging about 18 yards a catch though. Not too bad.

Well, I loved the Giants' game because I stayed on the edge of my seat or paced due to the tension. Point being I love a good game but I want to win.

On the other hand at my age and health I wouldn't mind if we won in the first quarter.

This game is as important as the Giants' game was. In fact it's now more important because it is the next game on the schedule and these guys are threats to our standing in the playoff structure.

So after a long winded approach to nothing in particular I'll take all them on or their scrubs.....just as long as we win.

I think we bring the Saints offense down to Earth a little this week

i dont see anything out of bush as a runner even beyond stats, i mean 60% of his yards came on that end around. Honestly, he's to lanky and fumbles...im more worried about henry on colston.

I for one would be thrilled if Bush, Horn, and Colston were all out.

Let us face them at full strength after our 1st round bye.

Dec 4 New Orleans Saints RB Reggie Bush (shoulder) played in the team's Week 13 game and is not expected to miss practice time this week.

I agree....he is under 400 yards for the year. One or two good hits and that will be it for him. From the sound of Sportscenter yesterday I thought he rushed for 300 yards.

How good is Roy that Reggie already feels the pain from a hit Roy hasn't even put on him?! LOL

Gonna break his shoulder like he did Emmitt's (though that sucked)

Go Cowboys!

Bush is way over rated. He has looked ordinary on about 95% of his plays. Occasionally he does look great- but if he only has one play out of 15, so what?

Somehow I don't think people catch that Itis...like they did Larry Allenitis. :laugh2:

I remember that article being one of my favorites.

About who is sitting or not.

Seems like Brees finds a way to get who ever is playing to play at least ok.

Kid is already got 3600+ yards passing and around 20 TD passes.

I think we win this game, but I don't think it will be easy or a blow out.

Then you never got the idea of being battle tested. Then you never got the idea of finding out what you have, how you hold up against the best.

Yes, a false sense of security goes a loooooooooong way in the real world.

There is a lot of luck involved in winning a SB. Part of that luck involves good health. Usually among your upper echelon teams, the team in the best health has the better luck. We have had injuries every year and while we have not been an upper echelon team, more middle of the pack, we would have fared a lot better if it were not for the injuries. I don't want anybody seriously injured but I am not screaming for all of our opposition to be in perfect health either. It is part of the game.

I don't expect any of our games to be a blowout. Some teams with bad records are either getting healthy or their rookies are getting experience. Look at Detroit this weekend. They led NE until the final few seconds and then NE beat them. There really aren't many pushovers, if any, at this stage of the game. We might blow a team away but it is highly unlikely.

I remember when I was in college and I would complain to my Mom about a tough exam coming up and she woul flip it off with "You will do just fine." She never had a clue regarding all of the cramming and hard work to get there. Then when (and if) I made good she would just smile and say I told you so.

Some fans are like that. They think the Boys should roll over every team about 40-0. Every team is stocked with professionals. The ball takes some funny bounces. A bad ref call can determine the outcome of a game. There are a lot of variables that cannot be controlled. Hopefully, the team with the most talent, most disciplined, best coached, best health and with the greatest desire and effort will win out. Most of the time they will - but not EVERY time.

Dallas can beat any team in the league but there are too many variables to chalk up a win until the final score is in.

I don't buy that at all. This is the NFL. Missing a DT like Hollis Thomas doesn't help, but to say that beating the Saints without him or Joe Horn (who hasn't been his usual self this year) would mean the Cowboys aren't "battle tested," I don't agree. The Saints are 8-4, and this is a team game in every sense of the word. Any team can beat any team on any given Sunday - that makes it impossible not to be battle tested.

Looking over your back every week just goes with the territory in the NFL. You beat who is in front of you, injuries and all. And whatever step gets us closer to the Big Game, I'll take it. If that means somebody misses the Nawlins game, so be it. I won't lose any sleep over it.

And to have a false sense of security you'd have to completely forget the other team's injuries. If the Cowboys beat a depleted Saints team, which is not at all the case here, you don't think they'll know that?
