Did anyone see the little special they did on the eagles fans booing santa? Either it was the mayor or governor saying that that attitude is what makes up the foundation of their fans. Yea, the same foundation that cheers when Irvin goes down with a major injury. GOD I HATE THE PHILLY FANS!!!

What do you expect. They're iggle fans.

For me it's Carolina. I will never root for the iggles and I would rather have Carolina as the wild card over the gints.

Anyone hear on Monday NFL countdown?
Sylvester Stallone said he really likes Tony Romo, because of his poise, and because he came from nothing.

Yeah, I saw that....and was surprised he wasn't egged for it.

Stallone could prolly singlehandedly kick some serious Philly fan *** if he wanted to. Philly fans are stupid, but not dumb enough to egg Stallone. Besides, he's the only (fictional) hero they have in that town.

lmao...true.
...but apparently you haven't spent much time in philly. Every one of those knuckleheads up there think they can take on the karate kid, chuck norris, sergeant slaughter, braveheart, and santa claus all at once. Their inferiority complex makes them delusional.

It's pretty freakin' sad when you're city's greatest champion of all time...
is a fictional character.

When did MNF become 20/20? Theisman is acting like Barbara Walters interviewing Sly Stallone, "SO tell me, how did Rocky affect you personally? As a human being in life?" Might as well be watching "Beaches" or "Steel Magnolias".

Philadelphia had/has a real life Rocky in former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier, who parallels the movie character.
But for some strange reason, the city doesn't recognize him as a hero, a man who embodies the blue-collar, pull-yourself-up-from-your-boot-straps work ethic like the fictional character does.
I wonder why?

This is the first time I've seen a QB negotiate his team into a penalty.
Great job Delhomme!

Am I imagining things are did I just see an offensive pass interference?

I didn't say they had no other champions in their history. I said their GREATEST champion is a fictional character. Frazier didn't reach the "heights" in real life that Rocky reached in the movies.
The cowboys have a statue of an actual person in front of their stadium (the great Tom Landry). The eagles put up a statue of a fake person.
That says it all, IMO.

Zzzzzzz.
This game just symbolizes the mediocrity that is most of the NFC.

Note to Plaxico Burress: see that play Keyshawn just made? That's called "not quitting on your team."
Not only did he prevent the INT, but then he stepped up and made a first down catch on the next play.
Keyshawn >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Plaxico

I love Andy Reid's face. It's classic. It is like he just woke up and found out his team is losing.

And then he makes a sweet catch for a TD to end the half.

Philly might just make this a 4-way wild card tie....Actually, they would take the 2nd wild card spot behind the Giants. It would look like this after this game if they won:
Division Winners:
Chi
Dal
Sea
NO
Wild Card:
NY
Phi

Our "best" team got beat by 2 AFC teams.

Why did Jake lob it? Keyshawn is 6'5 and was in front of Sheppard. Just put the ball up on a rope and win the game.

Key didn't jump early - he couldn't get to the spot because the defender was holding him

This is good, they get to put bad teams into the playoffs by atriction. Carolina beats New York next week to make the Giants 6-7. The Eagles will lose to Dallas and New York in the coming weeks. San Francisco might slither in as the sixth seed, brilliant!

He shouldnt have jumped, he should have ran through the smaller DB, and made the catch...

I agree. All I can do is just SMH at they're pathetic displays of "fandom" week in and out. They actually embarass Sixers, Philly and Flyer fans.
