Just tuned in. Spears was on. Talked about needing to play better. He mentioned he was pretty sick last week as well.

His usual mature response to criticism.

His usual mature response to criticism.

He seems pretty down to Earth, much like most of the players on our team.

Anyone else struck by the absence of Owens in the many, many clips shown today?

Except for the sleeping celebration....?

Romo, Witten, Glenn, Barber, Romo, JJ, Pat, Dre, Romo over and over congratulating each other - and the conspicuous absence of #81.

I think the Cowboys PR dept is already on order to 'diminish' Owens' profile on this team.

Well I have a newsflash for ya.

The huddle is on at 10 here in DFW and at 10:30 the pre game show is on.

Randy white, Bill Jones and Steve Dennis spent the first 10 minutes talking about him.

Well guess what. Randy white said owens is not bothering anyone in the locker room, he just needs attention. He said if he was in the locker room with him he would just laugh at the stuff he did this week because it was funny!!!! Then steve and Randy agreed they think owens and parcells have a good relationship behind the scenes, but neither is the type to say it.

Randy also said nothing he did this week was a big deal and espn is ridiculous puttting up stories about his birthday party all week.

I dont like Owens either, but unless you have more information that the beat writers, the local media or the guys who actually go to valley ranch everyday and talk to these people you need to give your agenda a week off.

I dont like him either, but I just forget about him because we have so many good things going on. I recommend the same.

you spend more time posting about how much you dont like him, just dont talk about him. I dont like him either.

Well, I've got a newflash for ya too.

I have no attention of stopping talking about him.

Especially after that 'betrayal speech' that just aired.

Put me on ignore. That's what the feature is for.

Well Fine. You are acting as immature as he does, but if that is what you want I wont respond or post to you anymore.

I trust the local media much more than espn, but if you want to go along with espns rating machine that is fine, it matches your agenda.

I still find it comical on the morning of a huge game with the saints in Dallas you are worried about owens and his birthday party and what ron jaworski and chris berman think about him.

Then laugh.

And btw, I couldn't care less about the "party" or what Berman says

I do care when Owens says on national tv about 'not being into it, so I drop passes'.

Maybe, JUST MAYBE, we are going to need one of those dropped passes to win the crucial game this year.

And that's my "agenda".

Think what you want but without Owens we would not be leading the division, would most likely be looking up at the eagles and giants, and be on the verge of being eliminated from the playoff hunt. If they think they can run Owens out of town next year and still be a contender then they better have plans for picking up another #1 wr that will command the defensive attention Owens does because that is the biggest reason we are having success right now. With no Owens, Romo will not be looking at open receivers all over the field and we will go back to being an average non-playoff team! Mark that down, its the truth!!!!
