That would be good. Although it will not happen.

Do not discount the white hot Cincinnati team.
That offense is back, and their defense is generating turnovers again.
I'd put my money on SD, but I think Cincinnati might be able to challenge them.
i hate new orleans.i will root against them.chicago isnt giving up the crap we did.

San Diego in my opinion isnt gonna make it to the big dance, Marty is a great coach, but his playoff record is 5-12 and thats with some great teams. im gonna pick Baltimore vs Chicago, now that would be a blood bath.:starspin

NOTHING is for sure in this league of parity. AFC front-runners are the Ravens and Chargers and NFC is completely up for grabs.

I guess everyone missed the Bengals absolutely exposing the Chargers overrated defense a few weeks ago, before their defense didn't show up in the second half and let SD score 42 points. Or not being able to hold STL, KC, CLE, DEN, or CIN to less than 24 points in 5 successive weeks. (In case you're wondering, only Cincy even averages 24 a game)....
They're not invincable. And neither are the Saints.

Yeah... but.... this team is probably the best and LT is one of the best... so past coach shortcomings dont count here... I think they could win in spite of Marty...
with that said... I think they could NOT make it because EVERY great offense CAN be defensed on any given Sunday.... ie. Bengals

The crazy thing about this year is that I don't think there's a single team out there that can be called a lock. As pathetic as our defense was, and as lackluster and unimaginative as our offense was on Sunday night, I'm still not discounting, at all, that the 'Boys could be playing in the Big Bowl this year. I believe that this year, moreso than any in recent memory, that any team that gets into the playoffs has a decent shot at winning it all.

As a Saints fan, while I'm happy about last night, I agree with the poster that stated the Saints don't have the Defense to go to the Super Bowl. Our defense is mediocre at best. The one team that no one is talking about, and wouldn't surprise me to make a run is the Seahawks.

I truly like the Charger's chances....but the Schottenheimer Factor is always reason to doubt them.

I love how everyone has already given up on the Boys.
Who the #$@ mentioned Carolina? Didn't we beat them at their house already?
New Orleans played well yesterday and beat us. Get over it. We've stepped it up in huge games against the Colts and Giants already. There is no reason to think we can't do it again. Teams lose in the NFL. Super Bowl teams get their clocks cleaned sometimes. That's why the '72 Dolphins are so popular, and there's a reason no team has done it since.
I'm not going back through all the years to look at every schedule to prove this, but I do recall the Colts giving it to the Steelers pretty good in a regular season game last year, and I think the Steelers ended up beating them in the playoffs despite that.
People on here are so pathetic. If a forum like this was created last week, there would probably have been a cyber murder, but now it's ok to say Carolina is gonna make it to the Super Bowl on a Dallas Cowboys forum? Even Micky Spagnola isn't that retarded. This kind of talk fits into extremeskins.com or whatever that garbage team's website is. The Cowboys are far from folding this thing in.
