Because the Giants have been completely distraction free this season.
Nice call, Vic.

I dont think the TO disctraction has anything to do with it, it certainly has nothing to do with a defense that just got obliterated
we've played poorly the past two games, the Giants have played pretty well two straight games (even though we beat them, we didnt play well at all)...they will own the tie breakers vs us...if we finish tied they will win the division
its not that far fetched...we probably need to win 2 of 3 to make the playoffs and probably have to win out to win the division...and after what I saw Sunday night I think missing the playoffs altogether is a real possiblity

This is very frustrating that these media dumbfu**s make these comments. The Giants have been the worst with in-fighting this season AND these media stupids make this comment basing the reason the the Giants will win out is because the Cowboys have distractions... This really shows a media bias and is so completly stupid.

i think he's right. this game in atlanta will be tough. i think the cowboys will lose in atlanta, then beat philly and detroit. 10-6, runner up to the giants.

Do you think other teams fans notice the same, ... with incorrect things being said about their team ?

Exactly. We will need to win out to take the East. That's why this game is so important Saturday and a loss could possibly eliminate us controling our destiny. The last thing I want to have to do is scoreboard watch and backdoor our way into the playoffs.
A wildcard birth would be a total disappointment IMO.

I mean seriously... TO says something and its murder... Shockey, Plax, Tiki, Strahan ALL bad mouth the coaches and others and ARE true cancers... yet it is said that they are just frustrated and the comments were said because of that..... well hello....

So you are saying that the Giants win out after going 1-4 the second half so far with their lone win coming against a CAREER BACKUP QB starting his first game in 6 years, and a team with both starting corners OUT (where Eli put up only 170 yds w/33 attempts)
Philly has a VERY good chance of beating the NYG and then NY has the Saints coming to town... it is more likely that the Giants LOSE out than WINNING out! (If they lose Philly and NO, they will not show up in Wash)

^ Sadly, the Giants will win the next two games at home and probably mop the floor with Washington the finish up.
We control where we go, but I'm not so sure that this team is up for it.

Dude. How upside down is your logic when you give the Giants more credit for losing to us than you give us for beating them? I mean, seriously: check your head.
Batman agrees with you, though, so I guess that's cool.

Yeah the Giants we BEAT at home will beat the Saints...uh no! I think the birds are going to give them a fight, however I do not see them winning out. No Toomer, Eli SUX (when not playing the Cowboys)

Last week we were everyones favorite to go to the Superbowl, this week we are not even going to win the division.
I would just like to point to one game this year as a comparison to our game vs the Saints.
Week 3 - this season, the Giants get their butts handed to them by Seattle 42-30 and it was 35 -3 at the end of the first half.
The Giants go on from that game to win 5 straight and take firm grasp on winning the division.
IT IS ONLY 1 GAME!

The Giants win the division because we don't get pressure on the QB all the while putting our safties in Cover 2.

I know some times I am a little rough on the Cowboys but IMO they have deserved it for the last 10 years.
Funny thing is though, if Dallas loses Saturday to the Falcons you will still see people making fun of the "sky is falling" crowd and Dallas will still be "right were we need to be".
Make no mistake Saturday's game is big very big. Yes, our biggest game of the year...again.

Uh, lets revisit our matches against the Giants this year....
Healthy, they whipped our arse at HOME. We go up there and win by a FG in a game that they constantly stepped on their own feet and were not at 100%
Too many people chalk up what they WANT to happen as what is likely to happen. Dismissing the Giants is ridiculous -- sort of like so many here dismissed NO last week.

sure we beat them, but we played poorly and won...they were missing how many players? how bad had their starting QB been the previous 4-6 weeks?
the defense played awful the 2nd half of that game, we were fortunate to win...they followed up that with a disgraceful performance Sunday night

What have the Giants showed you in the last 6 weeks that makes you think they will beat NO ?

The last 6 weeks nonwithstanding, they ARE a good team. And I believe that they just hammered the Panthers. Dismissing them and chalking up wins and/or losses is a mistake.
Bottom line is that we need to win out, period. Do that and all of this is a non-issue.

Wow, hah this is breaking news! The Cowboys have TO, the Giants have Coughlin, Barber, Burress, Shockey, and Strahan. I guess even though the Giants have 5 major distractions they don't equal a single TO.

I have to take the last 6 weeks into account when I try and project how they will play. I don't see them beating the Saints. As soon as they lose it will be back to the bickering and back-stabbing
They hammered the Panthers without Jake, and Fox made the same mistake we did against the Saints he stopped running the ball. There is no way on Gods green earth I let Weinke throw the ball 61 times. Weinke was also their second leading rusher, that's just sad.

I understand what you're saying. I don't remotely agree, but I understand it.
What I guess I have trouble with is how you figure it's a plus for the Giants to play well and still lose the game at home?
