We can clinch a playoff spot if either of these happens:
1) MIN loss or tie + NO win or tie, OR
2) MIN loss or tie + CAR loss or tie.
It seems the best scenario for us would be #2 and the Skins somehow find a way to beat the Saints. The saints still have a game at the Giants and home against Carolina, both of which will be fighting for their playoff lives. I think we'll have a better shot at overtaking the Saints based on our last 2 at home v. the Eagles and Lions. This, of course, means I'd have to pull for the Redskins to win today. I think I'll go rake leaves.

Pardon my igorance, what does "tie" means ? It is impossible to have a tie game right ?
I find that both (1) and (2) is very possible but can the Jets beat Min at Min's home field ?

Nope, you can tie in the NFL -- they don't play until someone wins. I believe it's only 1 overtime period, or 2 perhaps. But they can tie.

Maybe after 1 OT, still no winner.... but the chance is quite slim, even more rare than Lions beat the Boys....:D

Two weeks ago ,we were the team to beat in the NFC with the Bears after our debacle vs the Saints now they're the team to beat.
After they lose today to the forskins who will be canonized as the best team next to the Bears.
How can one loss drop us that far
Fickle people
ps ;And I still say it was because of SP knowing our team so well.
We'll see today.

Jason is in his first year in this offense right now where as Romo was able to learn the offense for 3 years. At this time Romo was sitting on the bench behind Vinny Testaverde on the bench.
If Jason keeps playing like this, then I expect him to be great next year but again were the Redskins and we just find a way to suck somehow :lmao:

Suisham is good. The guys automatic and has massive range. Why did you guys let him go?
He didn't get alot of FG opportunities here and when he did he was less than automatic. He was relegated to kickoffs until he got canned.
Anyway, its all part of the Dallas kicker curse. I blame Steve Hoffman.

The entire NFL is on Sean Paytons nutts. I still think the Saints doing good is a damn conspiracy. No way you suck for so long and all of a sudden become beastly with low round picks and cast offs from Dallas who no other team wanted.

When they cant get to the qb this d falls apart. My friend, that is a pretty universal rule and is not unique to the Saints. That being said the Saints are an average defense who played lights out last week and will probably only win today on account of Redskin goofiness.
Campbell's frustrating to watch. He has a strong arm and can make some good throws, but takes forever to unload the ball with that windup and isn't all that accurate.
That last drive of the half was horrid.
