MVP awards are important with respect to Hall of Fame consideration. Assuming he continues to improve and become a dominant defensive force, that MVP sure helps in any argument in his favor.

Assuming he continues to improve and become a dominant defensive force, that MVP sure helps in any argument in his favor.The only person I can think of that deserves it more right now is Pacman Jones. Every single week Tennessee is winning because of his turnovers.

I'm sure there are others that I don't know of because I don't pay attention to the entire league defensively.
