did you here the hour long Favre love fest. It was sickening. Give him his credit, but that was rediculous.

I miss the old days where Lambeau Field was THE toughest place to win if you were the visiting team.

That always made for a good Cowboys/Packers game.

They said tonight was also the anniversary of the death of Brett's father. I hope he has a good game, he deserves it.

The only annoying thing I find is the extreme coverage by the media of his potential retirement. Last year was so bad, I thought I would rip out my hair if I had to listed to another 30 minutes of press conferences, listing to Brett say for the 100th time that he still hadn't made a decision.

Get over what. You obviously didn't read all of my post. I said he deserves it. But I want to hear more foorball news than an hour of Favre. Make a special on him, and I'll watch it. He is a future hall of famer. But it was a bit over the top. I would say the same about any player, even if they went on about Emmitt for an hour.

Guess he's gonna reach the 5,000 completions milestone tonight.

He needed like 26 and I think he's more than halfway there. Albeit it's mostly dink and dunk.. but yeah.

I made the switch to Dish Network last Saturday. It's waaaay better than cable. Wish I'd done it a long time ago.

Its actually a great battle on the frozen tundra, love it when you can see their breath in the frozen air (Says Jarvman in his recliner in front of a roaring fire and drinking a cold beer).

I have the game on in the background while I do other things. Boy, both of these teams are bad. If one of them does make the playoffs at 8-8, you might as well dish out three bye weeks because they would have no hope on the road against the #3 seed (whomever it is)

This game is blacked out even in Wisconsin, I'm not sure about the Green Bay Area. It was suppose to be on the Green Bay station that I get here in central Wisconsin but I just get a blue screen saying that its blacked out. Not that I really care to see this game but what NFL Network is doing is pretty low. This is one of the biggest football games of the year for the packers and most of the fans are unable to watch it.

That always made for a good Cowboys/Packers game.Yeah except that they always played at Texas Staduim where Brett Favre is a resounding 0-8 regardless of what quarterback in behind center for Dallas, Aikman 6-0 and Garrett 2-0.:D

Course nevermind when they finally did get us up in Lambeau in '97 they hammered us 45-17.

Not sayin that was the final nail in our coffin of the era but we did go into that game a somewhat respectable 6-5 and then didnt win another game that year. ;)

/yawn

seriously.
favre was a heck of a player but he has more than had his share of love and attention.

the pack needs to move on and the league needs to move on.

favre waffling on retirement for the 785th time is not anything i care to hear of.
