seriously how bad is our pass defense...we have no pass rush. and our secondary is pretty pitiful. even henry's pick he was beat for like 5 seconds and garcia made a terrible throw. and then henry showed his lack of speed on the return. watkins looks awful out there and in pass d roy doesnt look much better. hes always in the wrong spot and isnt fast enough to ever recover,.

Jeez, our defense is sooo freakin frustrating. We have all the talent in the world but, we some how always let offenses have their way with us. Why don't we jam WR's like other teams? We always have that half-arsed shove to try to "misdirect" the WRs and I don't think it ever works.

Basic first half analysis:

Our offense is doing okay. We moved the ball down the field well and should have scored more than seven points. If we can play like this in the second half, scoring points will not be a problem.

However, our defense has, to put it mildly, sucked bigtime. They are just marching down the field against us minus the Henry pick. If, and that is a big if, we can make some consistent stops in the second half, we'll be okay and have a shot to pull this out.

Regardless of what those who have already quit on the team (we all know who you are, you're the saame ones who post their drivel anytime the team faces some type of adversity) we can win this game. It won't be easy, the Eagles are playing at a pretty high level right now. But it's still well within our reach.

I seriously don't see this team hanging with one of the AFC powerhouses. San Diego, Baltimore or New England could easily put up a 40 spot on our team and they have defenses that could shut us down as well. We aren't far from competing for a championship, but we obviously aren't there yet.

Garcia is a freakin scrub QB who couldn't even hang on in Cleveland and we are allowing him to look like he should be on his way to Hawaii. I swear opposing QB's must think it's Christmas day everyday when the Dallas defense is on the other side of the ball.

Garcia was a Pro Bowl quarterback who is again playing with the right coach in the right system. He has a 96 QB rating and had 9 TDs and 1 INT coming into the game. He's just playing well and it's no surprise to many.

We need some pressure on the QB, be more aggressive, probably need to replace James, and pull another scheme out of the bag if Zimmer has one.

On offense they need to pass until Philly backs off the pressure. They need to be made to play honest. And you aren't going to sweep past this defense near the goal line with 7-8 men on the LOS.

I really think was has happened is that N.O. laid out the blueprint to beat this defense and we can't counter this late in the season. I remember Belichick and Wiess doing this to the Steelers on the opening week of 2003. They never recovered and finished 6-10. And they were considered to be a top defense.

It was a good call but you can't give the QB ten seconds to figure out what play to call to beat your blitz. It was foremost the FSs fault or whoever call signal for them to back off. And it's Zimmer's fault in not running the blitz enough for them to play it. There has to be someone left far enough off the LOS to play it safely.
