If you believe we're going to do anything else in the playoffs you're delusional.

You're gonna die someday, Bleu Star......as is every single one of us.
But that doesn't mean you get up every morning thinking about it and focusing on it. You delude yourself into thinking you're gonna live today, tomorrow, next week, next month, next decade, etc etc etc.....but the truth is you could be killed by a mugger the instant you walk out of your house.
You keep living until you can't live any more.....and you hope you get to live a long, happy life.
These Dallas Cowboys are gonna keep playing until they can't win anymore.....and hope they get to play a long season and win the Super Bowl.
Hope is delusion, my man.

Sorry Jay. This outcome became crystal clear to me today as I watched our team implode in, yet another, gigantic game.

We have the ability to play in a big game...see Indy
maybe we will be better off playing on the road because for whatever reason we can't get up for a home game

I remember people on here saying the exact same thing earlier in the year when it came to playing Indy as well.

No one out-negatives me. I say zero and done.

If our defense would get their head out of their rearend long enough to play a game......we would stand a chance.

yup. lord knows our offense is potent enough to win at least one playoff game if our D can get off the damn field.

If you believe we're going to do anything else in the playoffs you're delusional. These types of threads always appear after losses, but you are misguided. The team was thoroughly and soundly thumped today, but they will enter the post-season 0-0, just like everyone else.
The defense is having problems, many of which surfaced after Ellis went down (and our pass rush disappeared). There's still time to get it fixed.
I still believe that this team will make some noise in the playoffs. They can certainly beat the Seahawks (the 49ers did, so did the Cardinals) and I think that they match up very favorably against the Bears.
This may NOT be a Superbowl team, but they are still a good team, and every playoff game means playoff experience for guys like Romo, James, Ware and Jones/Barber.

Then our defense is going to have to start scoring because the offense isn't on the field enough to score.

I'm always the consummate optimist. My rep here will support this. However, you don't do what we did today on national television in week 16 and suddenly fix everything come playoff time. I sincerely hope I am wrong and will have no problem eating plenty of crow if this team proves me wrong. This is what I currently see. one and done.
I do agree the playoff experience will be instrumental in helping develop the young guys on the team.

Is this what the players are trying to tell Zimmer???

It depends. I think we can beat the SeaHawks if we end up playing them.

In a way, I'm actually oddly encouraged that we'll probably be playing a playoff game away from home.
We seem to screw up all our prime time nationally televised home games. This way, we avoid them.

Honestly, if we don't shoot ourselves in the foot with drops and other stupid mistakes we can beat any team in the NFL.

Were you in the restroom when the defense was on the field today or what? Good teams dont give up drives of 89, 94 and 76 yards in less then 3 quarters. They are struggling vs the run, cant rush the passer and are struggling to cover TEs and RBs. Not a recipe for success.

I bet the Detroit Lions are saying the same thing. Watch them prove it next week.
I can see Mike Furrey and Roy Williams smoking our secondary.
