Lewis was a hot coaching candidate for a couple of years. He was with the Steelers prior to going to the Giants. Now that Coughlin was able to save his job he axed Lewis, who had to work with an injury-riddled defense all season.

I don't think he'll be unemployed long, and with his ties to the Steelers, I'm sure he knows the 3-4.

Tim Lewis is awful.

He wasn't a scapegoat.

He was a MAJOR reason their defense sucked.

I hope you aren't the same people protecting Zimmer because he lost one player.

This guy lost Michael Strahan, Umenyiora, Lavaar Arrington, Justin Tuck and Corey Webster for big chunks of the season.

If we hired Lewis in any way, the Zimmer people would have a fit, because they run incredibly similar, read and react schemes. The difference is, he has great pass rushers to make his system work.

We need someone agressive and creative as our DC. Is he?
