I had to stop watching after the Richie Anderson fumble. I can count on my hands how many times I've had to turn off a game in progress . . . and this was certainly one of them.

After taking an hour to cool off . . . here are my thoughts . . .

-- Although we only scored 17 points . . . today seemed like an offensive explosion for us.

-- It's amazing what a real QB can do. Vinny re-introduced Cowboys fans to the forward pass . . . Something we've sorely lacked since early in the 2000 season.

-- I'll go out on a limb and say Dallas got the better of the Keyshawn/Galloway trade.

-- Once we had to settle for a FG on our first drive, and then missed the 2nd . . . I knew we were in serious trouble.

-- I think we need to fire our secondary coach. Maybe he teaches our cornerbacks and safeties not to look for the ball. I played FS in highschool, and we were taught that when the guy you were covering eyes got big . . . you turned to look for the ball.

-- My roomate is a Vikings fan. I think I'm going to ask him to move out.

-- Philadelphia won, the Redskins won, and we lost. Could this weekend have been any worse? Sure, the Bills lost, and thats a plus. But its September 12th . . . I'm not reduced to drooling about the draft yet.

-- I wish Bill Parcells wasn't so loyal to Richie Anderson. I don't understand why he was in the game, as opposed to Lee. My guess would be because he "trusted" the veteran, and RA is more explosive than EG. But hopefully after today, and the Carolina playoff loss, he'll stop trusting him.

-- It's early, but we could have the top three WR combination in the league.

-- Our linebackers played horrible today. Dat, Dex, Thornton. And did Singleton even do anything?
