I couldn't believe my eyes. Vinny was sacked one time. How a 40 year old, slow as malasis QB can have a productive day like that is simply amazing. The line looked great protecting him and if we put a real RB behind it we might just have a good year.

nothing wrong at all with the offense.
We are playoff bound with this offense and last years D...hopefully the D will pick it up.
The sad thing is we had a productive runner today, but he was only given four or so carries. Lee surprised me today. He looked good in camp and looked solid throughout the preseason, but seemed to have an extra gear and ability to find the holes in today's game. No wonder we were trying to trade Eddie, if those reports were true.

Nevermind the fact that the QB behind that line was able to pass for 300+ yards, with two 80+ WRs behind him.
The D let us down today, and Julius didn't play.
We KILL the browns next week.
Enough with the Chicken Little stuff around here already. We lost to a good team, not the Cards or the Chargers.
Good grief.
We were blown out by team not in playoffs last year.....

I agree . . .
But at the same time, the level of patheticness in which the defense displayed is rather alarming.
Granted, it was at the hands of the NFL's most explosive, and deepest offense at their own fast track . . . but scary nonetheless.

We were blown out by team not in playoffs last year.....Yeah and last year the Redskins were one of the worst teams in the NFL. Last year was last year.
In fact I will bet anyone on this Board right here, right now that Minnesota makes the Playoffs this season.

I will bet anyone that the Vikings are in the NFC Championship this year.

I really hope that BP recognizes that having EG in the game hurts us, when we could be running a guy like Lee.
Lee is the real deal.
I think he is the RB of the future for the Cowboys and I also have the same feeling about Romo.
I also feel that Jones can contribute and there really is no need for George on this team unless he is a back up.
START LEE!!!

This was also a team that started 6-0 last year. This was also a team that thrashed GB at Lambeau.
Minnesota is a schitzophrenic team. One week they'll play like they're the best team in the NFL......the next like they're a struggling bottom dweller.
We match-up poorly against them.....most of us knew that going in. I think we lose this game even with a player like Law.
Minnesota will be a tough team this year.

As has been said already, we played Minnesota at the worst possible time and figured this game would result in a loss for us.
Last season, they played damn well at home. They also started the season off on fire. And their performances against playoff-caliber teams were far better than against the bottom dwellers.
We played them in Minnesota. The first game of the season. Coming off a 10-6 season.
You do the math. ;)

We NEED JJ's speed to the outside and Lee's toughness inside. I have no idea what EG is doing on the team besides cheerleading.

The interior line played well, I thought Adams played poorly; he wiffed on several run blocks and had 2 holding penalties, one of which killed a drive. Tucker was okay early, but his inconsistency showed late.

The truth is they'd have done the same to us last yr, we just do not matchup to them. Think about the 3 and outs we'd have had last yr and how bad it would have been.
We'll get better I really believe that. I'm actually pretty excited about this team. This is the most potent offense we'll face all year. Our D will improve it's going to have some rough spots along the way.

We need a guy that is better than the RB we had last year. And George isn't that guy.
I was VERY impressed with the way we got our passing game going and controlled the clock with the short passing game. The Oline did it's job and if it plays the way it did today we are a team that can be playoff bound.

Of course, some mistakes were made. You've got to expect penalties. You got to keep them to a minimum, but they are going to happen. So are missed blocks.
Overall though, this teams line is twice as good as it was last year.
