I don't know about you guys, but Thomas Davis, SS Georgia looks pretty good to me right about now. Antrel Rolle wouldn't be a bad start either, though it would probably make everyone on the board sick for us to pick two DBs in the first considering our last two #1s were DBs. But, if things in that secondary don't get better, and fast, it's going to be a long season, or at least a high scoring one (for other teams).

NO ONE IS READY TO LOOK AT THE NEXT DRAFT....COWBOYS ARE GOING TO BE GOOD THIS YEAR. MINNESOTA VIKINGS IS JUST ONE HELL OF A TEAM THAT OWN OUR SORRY ... plus vikings is already predicted to win the superbowl. and Bill Parcells yet to really get some one to cause a pass-rush... we had more of a pass rush last year than we had this year.

yes, draft 2 first round CB's.
Let's see...just off the top of my head I'd say we could use a CB and DE. A DT wouldn't hurt either.

Get real.
We need to draft a stud pass rusher.
Give a qb like Culpepper 7 seconds and any CB would struggle
We need to draft a stud run stopper
320lb plus, Otherwise our small LBs get over run and Glover is eaten up
We need to draft a stud OLB.
Because we need a force there quick
All of these are needed before another expensive corner
All of these would make any player you put in our secondary better, and in my opinion are much more feasible than throwing more cap $ at the secondary. Cap management dictates that you are not going to have TNew, Roy and Rolle (for example) eating up $20-30m of your cap all at once.
If we have two suitable picks we have to be looking at the likes of Ngata, Hawthorne, Rod Wright, Spears, Pollack, D Johnson.
And no, I am not saying I am optimistic about Hunter,Reeves, N Jones, Dixon etc...just being realistic
Draft DE and DT.

Yay Jacksonville!
:D
For the record, here are the top prospects by position at this time.
CB (Antrel Rolle, Marlin Jackson, Carlos Rogers)
DE ( David Pollack, Mathias Kiwanuka, Marcus Spears)
DT (Rodrique Wright, Anttaj Hawthorne)
If anything else, it kind of makes certain college games more interesting to watch.

Unless the we can draft a new defensive coordinator, it doesnt matter
we can add talented playmaker after talented playmaker, and as long as this overrated bum Zimmer is running things the results will be the same.
If he can ruin Roy Williams and Terrance Newman, he can ruin everybody else too

yes, draft 2 first round CB's.
why? So Zimmer can teach them how to keep their back turned 100% of the time and never play the ball in the air too?

I would rather draft stud Defensive Lineman at this point. And an new Defensive Coordinator.

I'd take Rolle right now
but unless you are coaching the D, it wont matter. Zimmer will find a way to ruin him just like all the other players he gets ahold of...
if he can negate talent like Newman and Roy Williams, he can negate anybody

I'd take Rolle right now
Just tell me what we have to do to get it done and I'm in.
"With the 3rd pick in the draft from the Buffalo Bills the cowboys select Rolle..."

Look at the bright side folks Buffalo lost at home to the Jaguars.
Hopefully Drew Bledsoe can throw in about 4 or 5 more performances like yesterday so they can get JP Lossman in there so we are gurranteed a top 5 pick.
Antrell Rolle should be a Cowboy!!!!
If the Cowboys get a top 5 pick(from Buffalo) plus they have an extra 1st there is absolutly NO WAY the Cowboys can sit pat and let the top pass rusher get away.

Marlin Jackson! Has anyone seen this guy play?
This guy has the most talent of any of those guys. I think he may be facing some legal trouble. But if he can get it cleared up before the draft. This guy is worth a look.
Check him out!
