Now teh one good thing out of us losing is, it was a BIG Loss. Which means BP is gonna get in that *** and is gona make our defense pay. Browns get ready if you even see the endzone be very very happy. I smell a blowout victory for us. Your thoughts

I think the Cleveland games becomes a bit more critical for the Cowboys after all you don't want to start a season with back to back loses. I also would not take Cleveland lightly they did a good job yesterday in beating the Ravens. I feel Dallas can win this game and perform better than they did yesterday especially on defensively

Yeah I smell a blowout also, because Parcells have his way of changing a style of defense that don't have a pass-rush to a style that does have a pass-rush. He probably screeming at them as we speak. The offense showed they could get down field, but they need to score more... the offense i must admit look better this year than last year....

People seem to be forgetting that Cleveland has a pretty formidable 3 receiver set. We can't afford to give Garcia alot of time back there either or he'll make plays like he did against Baltimore. We'll see what adjustments we make this week to rectify the anemic pass rush and the average to below average RCB and SS.

I hope you're right about the blow out, but I doubt it. These guys just beat a very good Ravens team. Winslow presents a nightmare match-up for us. Can you imagine him on Dixon? And Garcia doesn't get enough credit for being the savvy, and productive, QB that he is.

I think we got that home intensity ready to fry Cleveland....

Let me get his stright, we have 1 CB and 0 DE's and we're a shoe in to just scream at our players to win?

If screaming works so well, why doesn't someone scream at Jerry to get out of the draft room in April?

I'd be surprised if we look as bad as we did yesterday.

But, we still have no RCB or pass rush. With Hunter and Dixon starting in the secondary we are vulnerable to anyone.

You know I was hoping that the bad defense in preseason was an aberration, that they were playing vanilla and just moving guys around to see what indc guys could do here and there. After yesterday I'm convinced LAST YEAR was an aberration.

Counting preseason our starters have generated all of one sack (and that was against a backup OL), no interceptions and no real hits on a QB. We were awful defensively against just about every teams starters in preseason, and were awful yesterday. Minnesota scored tds on 5 of 6 drives at one point, probably the only reason it wasnt 6/6 was because they bothced a handoff on 3rd down.

I am not optimistic about this season at all anymore. Our offense may be entertaining for the first time in years (assuming Parcells gets his head out of his rear and plays Jones and Lee) but the defense is going to suck until Mike Zimmer isnt here anymore.

I'm with you. I'm betting real big on Dallas in my pool this week. I watched the Cleveland v Baltimore game. It was not that impressive. Cleveland came on in the 4th. There defense didn't have to work up much of a sweat against Baltimore. They were horrible.

Weighing in a few weeks back I predicted an 8-8 for 2004 and Im sticking to it. This team has some interesting elements to it and can have a bright future, but will labor some this season due to some shortsighted calls BP and Jones made during free-agency signing periods and perhaps even the draft. (dont need to iterate those). That this team's a 10-6 or better, headed for a playoff run was probably a red herring. I look forward to next week and the week after that and the week after that, so forth and so on. The Cowboys will win their share of games, the season's a journey, not a destination. But we should all really, really evaluate what the term "work in progress" actually means. Sorry - yesterday's game wasnt an epiphany to me.
