Last year we lived and died by the blitz and got away with it most of the time. Towards the end of the season good offensive teams like the Saints exposed us. What I want to comment on is it seams like we're not really creative with our blitz packages... we are far to deliberate and good QB's can see it a mile away.. we rarely zone blitz or corner blitz or run a delayed blitz... it usually a bunch of linebackers.. maybe a safety crowding the line far before the snap... Did you see the way Culpepper audibled?? Sorry if I'm retreading.. but this is my first time on... since the weekend-- I was in Atlantic City..-- When Culpepper went to the sidelines he was pointing at his helmet and saying.. "We're to smart for that/them" I was reading his lips.. I realize Dexter Coakley ruined the play (I'm referring to the Ontario Smith TD) by not going all out on the blitz... My point is our blitzing need to be a little better disguised.. Any thoughts??
