Romo, Newman, could give him a 2 year extension, Barber, Ware, I am talking future money, save your 20 mill up front, I think I would rather break the bank with Joey Porter than anyone else right now...or if I was going to give Davis 20 mill and he might play RT, why not get Steinbach to play RG and pay him the money??????????????????????? it just doesnt make sense

Yeah... Breaking the bank on Joey Porter is better than shoring up an offensive like that obviously hampered Romo's development last year. Yeah.. That makes a lot of sense. As much as my sig says I would like Porter on this team having him instead of shoring up the oline first would be idiotic.

Barber and Ware do not need extensions. They're going into the third year of their contract and they're still well paid according to their draft status and production.

Romo will get his and folks will be crying because of the amount. I'm so looking forward to that.

Newman still has a year left on his contract before the team needs to address an extension.

7 sacks from your LT and 8 from your RT is border line terrible...think of how many false starts he will have...you do realize he has a problem with that too right? what about all the pressure it will create which will cause turnovers...you gotta look at the big picture...should I go on? are you even being serious? what about when strahan comes ripping around the side and puts romo out for the year? what if that happens? let me tell you something this guy is Flozell at LT but only on the other side...he plays hard when he wants...he is going to get Romo killed if he plays at RT...

what are you talking about? Davis gave up 8 sacks at left tackle. Who gave up 7? where did that come from?

All tackles have more false starts than guards (he will play RG here) simply because they are farther from the center.

I seriously doubt you saw more than 1 cardinal game last year

What difference does it make what Flo gave up compared to Davis...seriously they are not playing the same position now.

I mean I could see it if we are signing Davis to take over for Flo this year, than it might be relevant.

But since he is signed to play on the other side of the line and probably at RG it makes no difference.

What does your point about him sucking at RT have to do with Flozell?

What does it have to do with your rambling in this thread?

Nobody here has a real clue as to what McQ is able to do, futher more I would rather have him still working out as LT because Flo will be a FA next year.

Fabini as the starter...as the STARTER...STARTER (imagine Mora's PLAYOFFs voice).

flozell gave up 7.5....work with me here...you at least have to have a working knowledge of what is going on for us to conversate...

and Flo has what to do with this?

Leonard Davis gave up 8 sacks at left tackle, in case you were not aware that is on the left side of the line. If you are still having touble hold your index fingers and thumb in front of you, the one that looks like an L is the left side. Here this picture may help

http://library.thinkquest.org/04oct/01093/letter%20L%20done.JPG

Now on the left side the tackle allows more sacks that the tackle on the right side (right is the other hand) Therefore Davis allowed 8 sacks at LT (career most BTW) it can be reasoned his sacks allowed will drop on the right side (other hand again)

But all of this is moot when he will be playing RG

My point is jerry is stupid, first he pays gurode 10 million and he only had one good year...then he pays davis 20 million for mediocrity....my point is why not go after steinbach...guarantee you if we paid him 20 mill up front we could have gotten him and we would for SURE have a very good player! not average...my point is jerry is stupid and will continue to be as a GM

no what i was saying is because he is going to play tackle its a waste...are you following?Colonel Flagg logic.

Excuse me while I digress a bit. There's an episode of M*A*S*H that I love. Margaret is missing (she's actually off delivering a baby) and Colonel Flagg (a regular foil character) shows up at the 4077 to aid in her search. He is disguised as an Italian WWII Officer. For those who don't know, Italy was not involved in the Korean War. There's a very funny preliminary scene with Radar but an even better one with Colonel Potter.

Potter: "Flagg, why are you dressed like an Italian usher?"

Flagg: "Can you keep a secret?"

Potter: "I think so."

Flagg: "I'm disguised as Ling Chow, Chinese double agent."

Potter: "Funny, you don't look Chinese."

Flagg: "Neither would Ling Chow if he were dressed like this. Do you follow me?"

Potter: "As far as I care to."

Yep. That about sums it up.

Point taken: STSINAZ was wrong about Bigg. Not sure we need three separate threads to call him out on it.

Here's something else we can all laugh about: two years ago I thought Henson was the future of this team and that Romo would never amount to anything more than a decent back-up. Ooops.
