NORMAN, Okla. -- True freshman Adrian Peterson rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns as the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners downed the Oregon Ducks, 31-7, at Memorial Stadium.:)

Jason White completed 17-of-23 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown for the Sooners (3-0), who won their 16th consecutive home game.

Kellen Clemens was 24-of-35 passing for 179 yards and a score for the Ducks (0-2), who have dropped two straight to start a season for the first time since 1992.

Peterson, who carried ball 24 times, has rushed for at least 100 yards in each of his first three games. Donta Hickson added a 25-yard TD run for Oklahoma, which simply wore down the Ducks' defense after they kept it close for most of three quarters.

Good win for OU. Oregon moved the ball pretty well on them in the second half especially. Just couldn't convert on anything.

Texas had a hard fought battle with Bye Week, but we pulled out the win. :D

Boy, I was genuinely surprised at how Oregon exploited their secondary.

I'm sure the suspension was on their minds.

They'll shore that up between this week and next I'm bettin'.
