You think they could have done something a bit more creative than that.

Actually, they did the same thing for BATMAN BEGINS 3 years ago -- simply starting with the logo and progress from there.

I cannot wait for this movie. Everything they did with Batman Begins was spot on...except for Katie Holmes.
I would love to see Scarecrow back...at least to finish his story arc. That would be a great way to start...Batman going after him and some of the inmates in The Narrows.

Rumor has it that Cillian Murphy will be back as The Scarecrow. Of course, The Joker is the main villain in the film. Katie Holmes was dropped and being replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal in the same role. For more: http://www.batman-on-film.com/batmovienews.html :starspin

I read either on your site or somewhere else that they contaced Phillip Seymour Hoffman to play the Penguin, but he declined. I thought introducing Cobblepot in this one, then expanding his role in the 3rd one would of been the way to go.

Yup.
If Holmes had come back for round two Tom Cruise would have been an uncredited villian - the dreaded COUCH JUMPER!

That color scheme has hints of Joel Schumacker in it.
