:D I thought I'd stop in & say "Hi!" from Redskins Country! I'm sure you are all ready for the MNF game. Classic rivalry back in action, I hope. Gibbs v. Parcells on Monday Night? This should be a good game! I'd wish ya luck, but I'm not that much of a good sport. I'll just say that I hope for a good game & may the best team win (which, of course, will be the Redskins! ;) )

Well, I would expect that Vinny will spend a good portion of the game on his back as well, so...I think this will be a good defensive game. Probably not very high scoring, but alot of sacks & INTs on both sides of the ball.

Why, thank you! ;) It's easy for me to remember since I carry this handle everywhere & it's tattooed to my arm (well a portion of it anyway). I have the Dallas star engulfed in flames with "Cowboys Suck" underneath it. That's below my Redskins logo tattoo. But I appreciate the shout out!

Yep we'll have to be on the watch for Daniels, maybe Arrington on the blitz. Wait....;)

I used to play basketball with this dude that had the GreenBay "G" on his arm. It was a pretty kickass tat. I've been thinking about getting the star on my arm for a couple of years now. I wouldn't get it done in the crap town I live in now though.

S Roy Williams

Williams was a menace all game, knocking Redskins running back Chad Morton out of the game and injuring fullback Rock Cartwright, quarterback Patrick Ramsey and even teammate Darren Woodson in an accidental collision. Williams finished the game with five tackles, one sack and a number of bone-crushing hits.

Well it's always fun during the week you are playing a rival. Skins fans get so excited before the game. I am surprised at how many of them expect to win the game every time. You would think there would be a little trepidation because of how things usually work out for them. How quickly they forget. Here are some quotes from a recap of the last game Skins fans expected to win against Dallas. They don't even mention that Coles was shutout, but it's still a good read..
http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/recap/NFL_20031214_DAL@WAS

Rookie Terence Newman tied a team record with three interceptions, Pete Hunter had two fumble recoveries and an interception, and Troy Hambrick ran for a career-high 189 yards Sunday to power the Cowboys to a 27-0 victory.
...
In the mud and driving rain, the Cowboys held Washington quarterback to Tim Hasselbeck to a rock-bottom 0.0 quarterback rating and allowed just 161 total yards, including 37 in the second half.
...
My favorite one!!!
The loss eliminated Washington (5-9) from playoff contention and guaranteed a second straight losing season. They have lost 12 of 13 against the Cowboys. :)
...
"It isn't about quitting, it's about getting embarrassed. We got embarrassed," cornerback Fred Smoot said. "We stunk it up out there. I apologize to all the Redskins fans -- every one of them."
...
The Redskins hadn't been shut out at home in 10 years.
...
I don't know what else to say," Spurrier said. "They kicked our tails pretty good."
...
Hasselbeck was 6 of 26 for 56 yards, four interceptions and numerous batted balls at the line of scrimmage in his third NFL start. Dat Nguyen and Greg Ellis knocked down back-to-back passes on one stunted drive in the third quarter.
...
Hambrick ran through gaping holes of 12 and 15 yards on Dallas' opening drive and had a workhorse 13 carries out of 15 plays over three drives to put the game away in the fourth quarter. His last run was a 42-yard scamper to set up the Cowboys' final touchdown, giving him the third all-time best rushing game by a Dallas back behind Emmitt Smith 's 237 in 1993 and Tony Dorsett's 206 in 1977.
...

I don't get tattoos at all. Even if I did there is no way on earth you could get me to put anything related to the teams I "hate" on my body. That just makes no sense at all.

Lifestyle? If you say so. I'd call it little man syndrome and the need to be noticed. 12 of the last 13 games would be pretty solid evidence of the inferiority feelings.

Well, it's actually called "short man syndrome" & you have to be a short man for that to apply. That, I am not. I know this probably won't make any sense but the Redskins are family to us in alot ways up here in the DC area. We live, breathe, & die on the Redskins. Not all of us, obviouosly, but a large portion of us. So, it goes beyond obsession. When you start to tattoo yourself with the Redskins or their rivals, it has moved from obsession to lifestyle. Ya see, obsession is something you can hide. Lifestyle, you can't.

Actually you do not have to be short to have short man syndrome. Anyone who has an inferiority complex can have one. But so what? We digress.

Guess what? Obsession amongst fans to where they feel like the team is family happens in every city in every sport. You're not unique there, no matter how much you may think so.

For example the Cleveland Browns fans. You've got a long way to go to reach that devotion in my opinion.

I was going to be banned for the name Hostile. Hardly offensive at all and I am not anywhere close to being a flamer as some of your better posters can attest.

Lifestyle is a broad word my friend. One can have a "lifestyle" that is tolerant of others just as easily as hate filled.

You choose to be hateful. That's your call as it is your life.

I was simply pointing out in my original post in our discussion that I would not put my enemy's mark on me no matter what. I would not put a Redskins or Eagles logo on my body, even one in flames with the proclamation "suck."

Whether you realize it or not, by putting that on your body it is just as much a tribute to the Cowboys as it is a message.

I really don't think Vinny will be on his back much during this game. With LA out, there really isn't any real bite unless a all out blitz is called. Vinny will have hot routes to exploit the blitzing. Thank god for Vinny, I really think he will be able to handle the pressure (unlike QC) and we will move the ball easily.

Ramsey just doesn't have control over pocket pressure and will be sacked/intercepted many times during this game. I really don' think this game will be close in the 2nd half.

It's not an obsession, son. It's a lifestyle.

So, your "lifestyle" mainly involves hating a football team??

Here's betting your weekly meetings of your little cult draws heavily from the shallow end of the gene pool... IOW, I'd say that if hating the Cowboys is the dominant aspect of your "lifestyle", you really do need to get an actual life...

You know the Zone doesn't operate on petty vendettas or over sensitive Lord Fauntleroy sensibilties like ExtremeThinSkinned does, Ben.

It's interesting tho, that the fanbase tends to the same lack of intestinal fortitude as the team itself.

Can't take it, can't take one tame word of smack, and won't, once again, take the real smack that will get laid down them on Monday night. :p

Our team is better than yours.

And...

If the Cowboys suck, then the Redskins bite, stink, swallow and blow.

There is no doubt in my mind that we lay the smack down on the Redskins. They'll have no choice but to take it.

Funny stuff though, LTN....funny stuff.

Oh Girlfriend...That is Jeff Garcia. The guy that was the QB in the Browns vs. Cowboys game.

He used to QB the niners. Terrell used to call him out about being a lame QB and a homosexual.

He QB's the Browns this year. If you watched the game, you had to see him. Maybe you just don't know what he looks like w/o his helmet.

He looks better w/ the helmet on.... :D

I'd like to see what this clown has to say now that Dallas has beat the Skins 13 of the last 14

I chose not to post until tempers died down. But some fans (I'm Not identifying who), are really not healthy. I enjoy debating perspectives, I like to have a nice heated dialogue about your team vs mine scenario. But I do not hate any team. I prefer the Eagles! I was born in Philly, I had an Eagles helmut on when I was two years old. I have a martial arts tatoo (because it's something I enjoy).

Either this guy is pulling your legs or he's not healthy. I'm not so sure I would even continue dialogue with someone who is seriously obsessed with
hating your team! While I have No love for the dalley C'boys; I could honestly say that I do not hate any team -- even dalley!

Eagles 4-0! Perhaps someone should consider establishing a protective mechanism that would net signatures like "C'Boy-Hater." It's an obvious giveaway that that signature element was "hostile."

Nice attempt at a shot. Missed the mark though.

BTW, the guy you are referring to was banned a long time ago.

That pitch attempt was low and in the dirt. Try again!
