I thought I heard WFAA say that Jeanne's outer bands of rain could be in Washington in time for MNF. Could make the ground game all that more important. I'll take us in that matchup. 20-10.

I like our chances due to our passing game....if it's our running game against theirs, I don't like that matchup at all...they have a better running game at this time....we need Vinnie and company.

The better defense will have the decided advantage.

Do we know if Vinnie can throw the wet ball? Nevermind, let's leave that dead horse be.

I look forward to a good slog...we still have to stop their run and our mistakes.

I think maybe a straight ahead running style would be more effective because there will be less traction on the field with all of the mud, but that is jmo. Maybe Portis will be taken out of his game without the ability to cut back.

Rain definitely favors the Skins.

We haven't run the ball consistently.....I also have my doubts about us being able to contain Portis.

I have my concerns about both teams running games. Portis is a good back but isn't an every down type guy the Skins wanna make him out to be. He's a 15 to 18 carry breakaway threat who gets winded and is less effective.

Both OLs are banged up. I like the left side of the Dallas line better than any area of the Skins OL. I like the Skins running game plans and OL coaching.

But Dallas has a decided advantage on the DL with Daniels out for Wash.

All factored in I think it could be a rather ugly game with lots of forced running.

I'll take Dallas with the 3 deep RB corps and better OL tho.

rain doesnt affect the passing game as much as you would think, its the rain that would be the problem.

if it came down to the running game, we're sunk. portis is still one of the most explosive backs in the game.

Bring on the rain. Vinny will throw five picks and Portis will run for 200.

1. Oh please! Portis just came from Denver. Hello - Snow, sleet, rain.
Washington isn't the only place that recieves bad weather you know...
Portis has been and will be just fine in bad weather. Any suggestion otherwise is wishful thinking.

2. Updated forcast - Rain won't be here until Tuesday

3. No our O line isn't banged up. We lost Jansen getting close to two months ago and that's it.
