I'm going to be seeing this next month at Botcon that my wife is dragging me to. I'm actually looking forward to going this year since we will be able to see the movie early. Looks awesome.

Your wife is dragging you to Botcon? That's a switch...but it's a good one!
That would be like my g/f telling me to stop mowing the grass so she could hear the commentary during an NFL game.

My wife has said we are going to see that so I have no choice but it does look cool.

When I heard about this movie I thought it would suck. However, more and more stuff has come out to make me think this might be a much better movie than I thought.

Where is CBZ? Am I alone here in wondering about the average age of our posters?

Tranformers - can't wait. It looked like a great summer for movies until I saw that Spiderman abomination - but hopefully some start to reclaim the blockbuster title.

I'm actually impressed as well. When I saw the concept drawings of how the robots would look, I was turned off.
Gotta hand it to Michael Bay...he really knows how to blow things up.

Wow...talk about being in the dark.
I kept hearing about the Transformers movie and thought it would just be cartoon or an animated feature like Shrek.
That looks pretty wild.
Have no clue if the actual story will be good or just a bunch of effects but it looked pretty wild.

I'm sure there will be a TON of backstory in this Michael Bay film...
Character development is Bay's middle name.

There are prequel comics and a prequel novel out that kind of flesh out a bit of what leads up to the movie.
And it's now a planned trilogy.

Freaking trilogies. Just give me a 6 hour movie and be done with the thing. No, I gotta wait 4 years just to finish the story.

It could be worse. The Lord of the Rings, which were great movies, would be like 10 hrs long. lol

Probably closer to 6 years. I think the 2nd one is due in 2010.
