Oh he's a good actor... not what I meant...
Sometimes it gets hard to separate an actor from a specific role...
Peck will always be Atticus Finch... Brando will always be Don Corleone... Warren Beatty will always be Clyde Barrow... Ledger will always be Ennis...

He looks like a 3 year old who got into his mother's makeup case.

Best part about this post is that you actually know Ledger's name in Brokeback.

At first I was meh towards it, but after sleeping on it I like it. At least Nolan is trying to go with something fresh and different.

The reveal of this pic was sheer brilliance on the part of Warner Bros. Check it out: http://www.Ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com

I think of Ledger in his role in A Knights Tale. William Thatcher. Gets the brokeback image away.

I think it'll look better with the demonic smile. Can't really judge it until I see that.

I'm sorry, but that was funny. Don't be such a batman homer.
And Heath Ledger is NOT a good actor. Sorry, just cuz he played a pillow biter doesn't make him a "good actor".
I still think it was an incredibly horrible choice casting Ledger as Joker.

I've only heard that, oh, thousands of times already. ;)
And Ledger is a hell of an actor. BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN was a tremendous film actually. And the best part about casting him is that it is totally unconventional. Nolan's been spot on when it's came to casting Batman so far, so I trust him.

Indeed. I guess for the rest of their careers, someone is going to put Brokeback in front of Ledger and Gyllenhaal and think it was clever or that it was an original thought. "LoL, you insinuated he was gay based on previous roles in his career...LoL.."
These new pictures are awesome. I cant friggin wait for this movie.

Given Nolan's superior track record, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Can't wait for the new Batman.

For real. Nolan has done nothing but make excellent movies.

That look is great...cannot wait to see the movie.
That is pretty scary looking...the scarring of the face and all. Very dark and I look forward to them explaining it. I have heard some type of disease could be used to explain the paleness in his skin.
If this is what the Joker looks like, I can only imagine what Two Face is going to look like.
Awesome.

then you're late into his career.
he was in 10 things i hate about you
knights tale (where i will remember him from)
the patriot
and quite a few other "grade b" movies in that era.
i've never seen brokeback and maybe this is why - he's a good actor and has some potential. i just can't pick out a single movie and have that define the rest of his career.

he's no tom hanks, no. but if all you know him for is a "pillow biter" then i'd have to say you're not really in a good position to judge his acting.

Lol at all the gay, pillow biter, brokeback comments...
I have never seen him in a movie and I really don't care about what he has done.
Nolan has done a great job in the past and with the Batman franchise, I will trust that he chose the pillow biter for a reason and can't wait to see it translate on the silver screen.

Anthony Michael Hall has been added to the cast...do you have any info on who he will be playing?
Also...is Karl Urban playing Roman Sionis in this?

I was told that he's a villain -- but which one, I haven't a clue. That Karl Urban rumor was BS.
