Hi Nors. I wish he'd activate Crayton already! We know he won't deactivate Carson. Do you think Cooper is going to be playing tonight?? Will he bring all the DLine in I wonder....

I'm real interested to see if Thorton (Bruce) will finally be activated. Each week he isn't bolsters your argument about the draft this year.

Crayton is active that means 1 of the corners or Dedric is out. I can't see him going with a rookie on monday night in the rain on the road to handle the punts. As LTN said - he's real good at fair catches. I can see a DE deactivated?

I want to see more Kalen Thornton in there over Al S as the season goes on. He's a player.

Whoa there...The Jury is still out on him. If by Week 12 or so he is still NO factor, then I'll probably begin to agree w/ you.

I think both Reeves and Jones will be active, and I can't believe he wouldn't play Ward. Thornton may sit yet again.

OK, serious question because I could have missed it. Thornton has received more PT than I expected, but most of the time it seems to be as a down lineman rushing the passer in certain situations. Has he played much as a standing LB? I hadn't noticed much.

Parcells has primarily lined him up at the line just as you describe. Nors has already gone on the record and said that "Singleton has got to go." It's a classic case of "weight discrimination" since Al is 228 lbs (even though he's 6-4)

I have a theory why Nors doesn't like him... ;)

The guy is handling two positions, mutiple formations and he's one dimensional? As a rookie - his role is in the nickel and dime DE/LB slot. Look for that role to expand if he continues to make plays.

Exactly. Not a hybrid yet, but he is in the hybrid training program.

Ah, the weakness of the "hybrid". Just like in real life it's very difficult to find someone that can do two jobs, not just equally well, but superior enough to be used at both positions.

It doesn't happen often. My good buddy Nors believes you can create "hybrids", virtually at will.
