Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!
Rosie is in talks with TV people about taking over Bob Barker's role as the host of the Price is Right.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse.

So is ogt going to put here ugly mug up for his avatar now?
Joking aside, I can't see how anyone would possibly condone this move.

I don't understand who she possibly appeals to... as far as I'm concerned, anything she appears on is pure kryptonite.

I believe Bob Barker himself said she would be a good replacement for him.
She has been a huge Price is Right and Bob Barker fan for years.
Not that it matters to me one way or the other as I don't watch the show.

The only reason I ever watched was because my grandmother liked it. That was so long ago that Bob had real brown hair not dyed but natural brown. :laugh1:

Same here.
It was funny as I seen him with his real color, than a few years later I caught an episode and you could tell it was a dye job.
When he finally went gray and I finally saw him with that color it was a shock.:laugh2:

When she had her talk show she was fine the couple of times I watched it. Its only been since The View that she's been a little nuts, imo.
Anyone that replaces Bob Barker is gonna have huge shoes to fill, regardless.

I think John O'Hurley would be a great replacement. You know...the guy who was Elaine's boss on Seinfeld?

No freaking kidding. Who in their right mind would think this is anywhere near a good idea?
When it was first announced that Barker was retiring I heard the name Ryan Seacrest(sp) and I thought "well that's the dumbest choice they could make." I believed that until now.

That's really not a bad idea.
Maybe Richard Karn, played Al on Home Improvement did Family Fued before O'Hurley, would be another name to consider.

They had a list of possible replacements...O'Hurley was on the list, Todd Newton, and Rosie.

Jeez, why don't they just dust off Chuck Barris. Even at darn near 80 he's better than fatso.

Now we know your lying. Jimmy Fallon has never done anything hilarious. Unless you count looking at the camera a dozen times in one skit funny.

I don't know why they just don't end the show.
It had a heck of a run with Bob Barker and I wouldn't think it would be too hard to just start a new show in it's place.

I thought the impersonations of Adam Sandler and French Stewart in those SNL Celebrity Jeopardy skits were great.
But yeah, other than that - :puke:

I think they should get an established game show host. Pat Sajak would be good, probably wouldn't want to leave Wheel of Fortune, but someone like that. I would say trebek, but he'll never leave Jeopardy. REGIS!!
No wait, Howie Mandel:ralph:

I nominate Alfonso Ribeiro.
I'd love to see him do the "Carlton Dance" when contestants "come on down!"

Peter Tamarkin is the only guy that should have ever hosted that show.
Unfortunately he died in a plane crash.

NEW YORK - Rosie O’Donnell says she’s out of the running to replace Bob Barker (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19418901/#) as host of “The Price Is Right.”
O’Donnell, a superfan of the CBS (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19418901/#) game show, said on her blog Friday that she had a “nice lunch” with the show’s producers.
Barker, 83, retired earlier this month after 35 years with the show, which is filmed in Los Angeles.
ad_dap('250','300','&PG=NBCSML&AP=1089');
Although O’Donnell has said she would love to fill Barker’s shoes, the 45-year-old comedian has changed her mind.
“Well, here’s the thing: I don’t really need a job,” O’Donnell says in a video posted Sunday on her Web site. “I’m in a weird position. I don’t need the money.” “So to get my entire family uprooted from their lives and move them across the country so that I can have a fantasy childhood indulgence, you know, job ... it just doesn’t seem fair.”
O’Donnell lives in Nyack, N.Y., near New York City, with her partner, Kelli, and their four children. She recently left ABC’s “The Viewhttp://mediaservices.msn.com/TvTags/img/tvtag_icon_10x10.gif” after a heated on-air squabble with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
