Those *******s!!!! I just got my renewal notice. They went up $5.00 again!!! I'm on the phone with them right now. I ain't having it. I'm sick of them going up on a Sportsbabe every year. It's a rip off. Although I must say I love the sweet, sexy picture of Romo on my personalized Cowboys regular season schedule. I'll keep you up to date.

You are not playing the game the right way.

You always call and ask for customer retention.
When you get them you start dropping the name of your local cable company then you tell them the only reason you keep DTV is for the NFL Ticket.

When I started talking about Comcast and how I wasn't going to pay that much for the Ticket they started cutting deals.

I got got the Sunday Ticket for 125 bucks, Got a 10.00 credit for 12 months and they waived my DVR fee for 12 months.

The only thing I didn't get was the Super fan package.

The Bums! :D

Anyway, I do it every year and it works like a charm and since I've been with them from Day 1 with the Ticket, they sure don't want to lose me

Nice to chat with someone who enjoys life:)

I always call Customer Retention. I got Super Fan for free last year. I'm happy with my $10 per month credit thus far. I'll get something else from them in a couple months when I move to my new house:starspin

What's the customer retention # again? I need to call them about Sunday Ticket. Got to make sure I'm not paying for superfan this year, and if I can get a few more discounts that would be great.

It'll sound like you're getting regular DirecTV, but it's Customer Retention

they dont...but you still threaten to dump DTV anyway...you complain that it isnt worth the difference and then they'll start trying to cut you a deal to stay...

Nothing wrong with trying to cut a deal.

But for poor saps like myself who don't get it at all, hard to feel bad for you.:D

I called to let them know I really won't be able to get it.

Bout a month ago or so and they throw some sweet deals my way.

Superfan for free......think it might be free anyway now.
Free moving connection
Free DVR upgrade or HD
$75 dollars towards programming not the ticket. (probably just pay for the DVR)

Sucks cause I tried to weasel them last year and got nothing.....now that I probably won't be able to get it, I get all I wanted and more.
