I wonder how many years the Eagles have been in the top-10 since the cap was introduced in 1994. It seems that every year they have tons of cap space because they don't pay their players. I thought there was a clause in the CBA that wouldn't allow a team to do that but somehow they seem to get around it.

Some would call it smart, and I guess to a degree it is, but in the end it will bite them in the rear as FAs will be reluctant to sign with them. They have been fortunate that they draft pretty well even though they have been selecting late in the rounds the past several years but the odds are against them continuing to be that lucky/good.

We keep the cap numbers under the Daily Zone section, I applaud Jerry Jones (mostly Stephen Jones) for getting the cap situation straightened out!

Apparently the Front Office is (rightfully) obsessed with staying below the cap number so they can pay the yearly loan dues for the stadium, which are pretty high.

When you think about it like that, it is really easy to see why they are not going to let go of Mcnabb so easily (not that they could, with that god-awful salary of his) because that team is pretty boring without Mcnabb in the front seat if I may say so. The guy sells tickets. Then again so does winning. I don't know.

We are so lucky to have Stephen Jones managing our cap space!

What? Where is Lil Midget and the Redstink team? I thought the Midget had all kinds of bread, huh?

Are they still paying Spurrier (the lip blower)...?

:D
