MOSS PULLS A HAMSTRING

Patriots Football Weekly, the official newspaper of the (duh) New England Patriots reports that receiver Randy Moss injured his left hamstring (http://officialnewenglandpatriots.wordpress.com/) while attempt to run down an overthrown flea-flicker pass at practice on Wednesday.

The hamstring thereafter was iced, and Moss later left the field, presumably for the day.

In 2004, Moss eventually missed several games after suffering a hamstring injury during a Sunday night game against the Saints. Though there's plenty of time for a pulled hamstring to heal before the start of the regular season, the injury will limit his ability to develop the proper chemistry with quarterback Tom Brady.

If the WR coach sent Moss out there without properly warming up, Kraft would have every right to get on him about it!

See Wade Phillips relaxed coaching style is having ripple effects across the entire league. Randy Moss never got hurt when Parcells was here. You prefer Dave Campo?

And, thus, it begins.
Moss' winter of discontent.

Can't wait to see if ESPN takes the same negative stance with him as they are again with TO missing practice.

Man... Parcells missing from camp has people getting hurt all over the place.

It's mayhem and madness. Bring back Parcells before the whole world succumbs to hamstring hysteria!

Did you expect a Jerry hater to look at anything objectively?

Thats why I never understood Eagles fans getting mad about letting staworth go and spending the money on kevin Curtis instead funny they put up the same stat line and Curtis was the #3 option in that offense not to mention Stalworth missed more games in that stretch

I said then the Eagles got the better wr in Curtis over glassman

The Patriots are considered Super Bowl favorites in large part to their offseason acquisitions at wide receiver. After all, it makes sense ,considering how close they came to a Super Bowl appearance with a subpar corps last year. But another part of me wonders if they are getting desperate ala the Yankees and go with a philosophy of signing top free agents (Thomas, Moss Stallworth Welker) as a solution to getting another ring when their previous championships were in large part won by "non-superstar" players
