Got a whiff of it today on ESPN First Line - and the attack point is Jerry is back usurping the role of the coaches.
Based on his critricism of the young DC for having guys run sprints w/o working out, one of the two mediots on that show claimed we can expect JJ, now Bill is gone, to resume "meddling" and eventually render Wade a 'puppet'.
Nothing new, just a resurrection of an old rap, but they set the table in preseason, so I expect this will be a go-to 'motif' once again.

Mediots, great term!
Welp, when you have nothing, and want to cause any stir for attention, read the DNC political playbook

Oh yeah I forgot, you're the guy who splices his posts with his politics.
I do know what the DNC is - just can't get the connection with my post. Don't explain it, tho ...as a life-long democrat, I can guess.
But 'whelp' IS a great epitaph , we need to see and use it more often.:D

think deeply, then you will understand. Don't want to go over anyone's head here. If I do, I'll back off.

Don't worry about going over anyone's head - worry about keeping sports thread to sports, is my advice. What you need to back off of, imo, is the incessant potshots.
Over the years your taking shots at folks' politics all over the football forums has somewhat irritated me, because it can so easily turn divisive. There's enough to get hissy over with the team, w/o anyone of us constantly sniping at other's politics. I mean, if I dropped a bomb on Bush in every five posts, I know I'd hit some nerves that can best be hit in the political zone.

dude, none was intended, but the truth still inlies at my point. You may be over stating my any past points about politics, and confusing me with someone else
done.
no need to continue on this discussion, and I promise not to bring up DNC or anything else like that.
However, I happen to agree with your original post. drop it
