Im heading up north for a week or two, we have no cable and we play alot of cards. I was wondering, if there are some card games anyone can recomend that can be played with money and are alot of fun.

Texas Hold 'Em is usually a favorite (I'm not much of a fan, but most people who play cards that I know love it).

I don't really play card games w/ money, though.

Ha i guess i should of been more clear. No obvious ones guys, such as texas hold em and 5/7 card draw. Same with inbetween the sheets. Any lesser known games? :cool:

Spoons used to be a fun game, Can not remember the rules and I don't know how you would bet on it unless the loser each round pays.

Of course, once upon a time I made some nice money at a floating poker game, too... I guess maybe I'm a cards savant... LOL...

Ever play on Yahoo Spades? I've been playing on there for prob 10-11 years. I'll bet I've got 4-5K in games on 1 particular ID. :laugh1:

From time to time, I've been able to find quality, repeat partners, and when that happens, you can really run-up some nice W/L records.
