Ok. For those who already have direct tv and feel cheated because you can't get all the new offers like new customers...here's the deal

If you call and tell you are thinking of canceling NFL Sunday ticket but HEARD that other existing customers are getting :

1. Superfan for free
2. $20 off per month for next 4 months
3. HD DVR upgrade
4. $10 off for regular programing for 10 months


There you have it!!!!!

Yes. My experience has been, that you must call DirectTv's customer service line in order to get in on some of these offers. They do not advertise these specials. You must call in and ask about such special offers/discounts.

It's worked well for me.

I got the HD DVR and the Free Superfan, but I stopped asking. I figured I would stop there and try it again next year.

Oh, also you need to call the DirecTV number and ask for the "Win Back" department.
