When I first came on board here I thought the knowledge of the direct TV subscribers heres was unparalleled , Got great deals cause of the folk on hear banding together. So its that time of year and I was wondering if anyone renewed there subscription and got any freebies out of them? So go ahead and post away I will keep you abreast as my situation with them unfolds

haha, at first all i was getting was the standard receiver and dish, but i finally asked to be put through to the retention service, and they were very helpful and heard me out.

However, I was told by another fan the superfan has ALWAYs been free for sunday ticket subscribers, so I guess it's just this year I am not being rooked (as much).

OK this is what they offered me 100 0ff the 220 price of the Sunday ticket, ( i was locked in at that price for 4 years already ). Super fan free big deal. Same deal 10 off for 12 months or 20 for 6 months. I wanted a DVR HD receiver but they said no way how did you guys get the receiver free. there really being pigs about this now any help would be much appreciated

You have to mention an offer from Dish Network to get the HD DVR. I went on Dish Network's website and found a deal for new subscribers that included an HD DVR.

I have had the Sunday Ticket since the Super Fan was around and I never had it for free.
