The Eagles inadvertently posted 22 roster cuts on their team website. KR/PR Jeremy Bloom was among them.
As were RB Nate Ilaoa, FB Jason Davis, TE Lee Vickers, WR Michael Gasperson, P Dirk Johnson, CB Nick Graham, LB Dedrick Roper, and DT Ian Scott. The cuts aren't official yet, but most likely will be by Saturday morning.

I'm mildly surprised that they cut their veteran punter. Not only are they going with a rookie punter (who has looked good) but that punter is holding on snaps. He botched two just last night.
Can you say "Tommy Hutton"? :)

Ilaoa and Scott are interesting.

Nick Graham reminds me of a younger Glenn. Real short, likes to make a break on the ball. If he were any taller I would say he might be worth picking up.

Ilaoa and Scott are interesting.
I remember Eagles fans pumping up 'Nasty Nate'.
Not so 'nasty' now, huh?
And Scott was supposed to help shore up a leaky run defense.
Guess they bought damaged goods that the Bears didn't want....
As a Cowboys fan, I'm happy with those cuts.

This reminds me of when the Browns posted their first free-agent signing on their Web site a few years ago -- before the free-agency period began.

Bloom was supposed to be pretty good.
He was terrible at the only thing he was supposed to be good at.....returning punts...

If its truly their list, Ian Scott would ake a great back up NT! He played well for Chic. last year. Didnt get to play in Philly due to injury and the emergence of some other DTs.... Stout run stuffer.

I'd sign Bloom to the practice squad.

Wow. They really can't catch a break. They are stupid.
At least have some class when cutting the players.

I'd sign Bloom to the practice squad.
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think we can sign a waived player to the PS. I think if we sign someone, they have to be signed to the 53 man roster.

I'd sign Bloom to the practice squad.
He is still a bit too skinny I think from having his weight down from the Olympic stuff.
Maybe next year we should take a look at him; me thinks he is going to be ready by then.

CBSsportsline.com listed DT Ian Scott as one of Philly's "significant" offseason acquisitions.

Once a player clears waivers, they become free agents and can be signed to any team's practice squad or 53 man roster.

Bloom was supposed to be pretty good.
Or the Eagles PR system is outstanding. Yeah, along with all this TC buzz how he was ready to break out as their prime KR this season, reports also came out how Trotter slimmed down, got over his knee problems, and looked quicker and faster as well.
Heh-guess we can't believe everything we read, eh?
