Not that I follow Texas HS football, but I remember watching their championship game with Chase whats his name and being extremely impressed with their program. Who is their coach now?

I think most would say Miami Northwestern had the clear talent advantage going in. Still, it was close.

There were two Chase's. Chase Wasson (2002), and Chase Daniel (2003, 2004).

Their coach is Hal Wasson, father of Chase Wasson and good friend of Todd Dodge.

He's gonna get a lot of flak for losing this game, but you really can't blame Hal.

I think most would say Miami Northwestern had the clear talent advantage going in. Still, it was close.

Yes, it was close, and I'm proud that it was.

Still, though, Southlake had a lot of opportunities.

The sad thing is, our HS really doesn't know how to deal with losing. It's not gonna be a pretty sight monday :(

Dodge took over the N. Texas job, right? I thought I read that in ESPN the Mag.

The sad thing is, our HS really doesn't know how to deal with losing. It's not gonna be a pretty sight monday :(

What also sucks, at least for me, is that I'm covering this Thursday's game against Rockwall. Of course, Southlake decides to lose the game just before that.

Yeah, Dodge is the new North Texas coach. Season ticket sales went up by 80% right after he signed.

Depends on what grade levels you use:

Carroll HS: 1,258 (grades 9 and 10)
Carroll Senior HS: 1,156 (grades 11 and 12)
Total: 2,414

Good, I was getting tired of those short white metrosexuals with bleached hair (possibly the single gayest thing I've EVER witnessed a team do as a unit) beating more talented teams because of a gimmick system
