I'm not ready to start Brian Griese (over Hasselbeck), but I thought it was worth waiving Garcia to take a look at Griese as a second QB.
I could see the Bears rallying around Griese and Griese having a nice run of success. (And if it turns out that he stinks, I can always dump him and churn the roster ....)
Kevin Jones was a free agent in a couple of my leagues. I decided to pick him up as a third/fourth RB and keep him on the bench for a little while .... to see what he'll be in a month or so.
Anybody else churning the bottom of your rosters? Who are you looking at?

I'm feeling you with Griese. I almost picked him up today, but figure I'll wait until I watch him play...most of the guys in my league are pretty slow to make moves.
I've done some peeking into our free agent pool. I find some of the receivers interesting (as I've got nothing to speek of after Chad Johnson). Burleson and M. Clayton come to mind.
Kitna is killing it for me right now, but I'm not so confident in Vince Young right now. I'm sure I could find a good game or two to start him, but they may not coincide with good games to sit Kitna...I'll have to go back and take a look at Griese and some other QB's.

As far as WRs go, I was hoping that Crayton would take a step forward ... I picked him up as a free agent and had him on the bench for a few weeks, but decided to move on. He's not getting many opportunities (or taking advantage of the ones that he gets).
I have 3 fantasy teams (start 1 QB, 2 RBs 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D/ST; no points per catch). I'm always looking over the waiver wire in hopes of finding upgrades.
I've got free agent Bobby Engram WR (3rd WR; replacing an underperforming Reggie Brown) starting for Team 1.
On Team 2, I just picked up free agent Antwaan Randle El WR (somebody dropped him for the bye week).
On Team 3, I have two free agent WRs on the roster: Roddy White and Vincent Jackson.

If I had Kitna and Vince Young, I don't think I'd consider Griese. Kitna and Young aren't putting up Brady, Romo, Palmer numbers, but Kitna and Young are putting up decent numbers. I'd roll the dice with Young when he plays Atlanta in a couple of weeks.
