Default Where were you thread: Dorsett's yard run

I'm going to do this kind of thread on a certain moment in cowboys history. Some of us had to work, at school, sleeping, on vacation, visiting the in laws. We all have lives and I thought I would make this thread. It just came to me so pleeease no insults ok. But anyways where were the day Dorsett ran a 99 yard touchdown. Me, well I don't remember cause I was just a baby. Bout the rest of you.

in front of a TV set...somewhere. short term memory loss from those days
is turning into long term memory loss, or maybe its just my age.
but i do remember watching it....
i can however still tell you where i was when JFK got shot, MLK, RFK,
the Challenger explosion, Space shuttle, Oklahoma City, World Trade Center,
but not most football games.
good topic though

It was on Monday Night Football, January 3, 1983. I watched it on TV at home.

My living room, I reckon. The thing I remember about that game (besides TD) is that heavy snow punctured a hole in the roof of the Metrodome, causing the field to be slippery in places. Worse, we lost the damn game.

At my home, in my basement, started off that play on my couch, in front of my TV.

By the time TD hit the 10 yard line I knew he was gone so I instantly jumped from my couch and started screaming my *** off.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I was a guard, you've never seen fan interaction till you see a sporting event on TV in a prison day room.
