I am now convinced that Ty Law is coming to Dallas
Every time I read a story about a CB becoming available there is never a mention that Dallas has shown interest. We have made no moves to address the situation and I can not believe that BP is happy with the situation. So it must be that soemthing is already set to go down after June 1. Eventhough this is from Profootballtalk.com it would seem to me that we would have some kind of interest in McKenzie if we did not have another plan in place.
MCKENZIE GENERATING INTEREST
A league source tells us that several teams are interested in Packers cornerback Mike McKenzie, who recently received permission to seek a trade.
The Browns, who at one point were thinking seriously about taking DeAngelo Hall in the first round of last month's draft, are in the mix. We're hearing that, under such a scenario, the Browns would send quarterback Tim Couch and at least one draft pick to Green Bay for McKenzie.
The X factor in such discussions, however, is the willingness of Couch to reduce his salary. To date, Couch's financial expectations have kept a deal from getting done.
Other interested teams are the Ravens, Jags, and Eagles. In Baltimore, McKenzie would replace Corey Fuller, whose off-field troubles are giving the team an increasing level of discomfort. Adding McKenzie would permit the Ravens to keep Gary Baxter at safety. Baxter moved from corner to safety when Fuller was added to the roster as a free agent from Cleveland.

I would love to have Law or Mckenzie as far as that goes but not if we have to give up a 1st or 2nd to get them

Ok I am in the opposite mind set
Law is staying with the Pats and Dallas is just ready to go with Pete and the young guys

I think June 1st we will still see Dallas add some other players, I do not think they are willing to live or die off of Hunter just yet

That is very possible doomsday
I think it depends on who is cut in june we may also look at camp cuts later on. If a young guy is playing well from another team and are trying to free up some cap dollars they may cut a solid vet we may add durning camp as well

I think Roo is dead on here. Last year, I felt sure that we would not go into the season with the QBs we had on the roster. Sure did go in. Felt sure that we would bring in help at the DE spot. No help came. I would not count on things to happen because it seems like we should.

JJ at one point slipped up
When asked about replacing Edwards he said they had a plan.
The hangup is what draft pick we give up.
Pats want a one and have rush or need to budge, yet. Pats don't want that Cap tied up in Law. We can resign Law to cap friendlt deal - there is the rub.
I agree - like Key - Law will be a Cowboy.

I pretty much agree here as well. If I were to bet on it, I'd go with us staying with the status quo or picking up a June 1 cast-off.
However, I would not rule out Law entirely. The Pats and the Cowboys play the media in very similar ways, in that they are very tight-lipped. The fact that nothing has been stated from either side is par for the course with these two teams.
Plus, there is the connection that Law was drafted by Parcells along with the connection that Pioli (Pats GM) is BP's son-in-law. If something were to happen, it would have to be beneficial for both sides.
In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if the concept has been discussed behind closed doors, but I don't see the deal actually going through.

Two things here.
1. Not sure that either of them were brought in before the season had started. If they had then I stand corrected.
2. Can you honestly say that either of them made a significant difference in our pass rush from the DE spot? So much difference that we went right out and signed Wiley.

Its just not happening. Their hasn't been a sound out of the Pats and that's because they have nothing to worry about. The guy is under contract, and he's going to play. He may not be happy, but he'll play and they know it.
The scary outcome of that article is the Eagles getting Mackenzie. in my mind, pretty much their only potential weakness is their corners - and even they're not as bad as advertised. If he ends up there, the NFC east will be a one horse race.

The Packers said to McKenzie that he could negotiate a trade to anywhere except Philadelphia, I wonder why? I'll post the article if you like.
