A lot of people here have names that they clearly chose based on a favorite player (Woodys Girl for instance). But some people have some pretty creative names.
What is the story behind your name?
I got mine because my senior year, we had our homecoming game. I injured my ankle during the game, and had to miss the rest of the game. Afterwards, my friends were asking me if I was still going to bring my girlfriend to the homecoming dance. I said I was, and noticing my limp, a friend made the comment that he was going to just call me "HipHop"...because with my limp I'd he hip hoping all over the place.
Everyone laughed....and I had that nickname for a while.
I'm a blues harmonica fanatic...the guy who has been copied the most, who set the bar for all blues harmonica palyers, was Little Walter...all the major players back then had a signature song...Walter was the only one who's song hit the charts...and it was named "Juke"...

I'll only award you half credit for that answer. What does the 99 mean?

I always thought yours was because of Dorsett's 99 yard run. The juke, then the run
I'm a huge Hokies fan, and Michael Vick was still at Tech so 7 seemed good, and then Kevin Jones carried on the 7 legacy until he switched to 25 his junior season. Now there is no 7 on VT currently, but oh well
