Default what if alex smith falls to #11?

i know it's highly unlikely, but if he falls to #11 it would be hard to overlook him with our qb troubles dating back since aikman. its becoming more and more obvious that we are looking for a superbowl win now, but still he could be the future. would you take him?

There will be leverage handed over to the lucky franchise that Rogers or Smith drops down to.
Could that team be the Cowboys? Maybe, but it all depends on who is willing to trade up and at what point they feel that player will be taken.

If that scenario falls into our lap at 11, and either is still their, I think there will be some signifigant offers on the table.

I would take a 3rd and 5-7 slot drop from where we are at 11,, but no more. We hold possibly one of the last impact slots in this draft.

Ditto.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

We wanted to find out about Carter instead of drafting Leftwich. How'd that turn out? Not saying we should draft Smith, just giving you a view from the other side of the coin.

I wouldn't be upset if we drafted Smith, but I know it ain't gonna happen.

Actually we had Carter and Hutchinson developing and neither is close to Henson's ability.

And you know this from watching half a game?

My god you're fantastic!

Anyway... I wouldn't be against drafting him, but I'm not against giving Drew more time either. Same as it was in 2003. I wanted to give Carter time, but Leftwich was #1 on my draft list. That said, Alex Smith is no Byron Leftwich.

Henson has more talent and a year in the system, he would not be 3rd string.

trade the pick for 3rd and a 2nd and a 7 or 6. whoever is the highest, we dont need another oung QB< BP said he still has faith in henson, why ruin his confidece by bringing in another QB.

How do you know, how do you judge a QB who comes from college, to a QB who's been in the system for a year and already has game experince. If BP didnt want to throw Henson into the Fire why would he throw this rookie into the fire. SHow me that SMith is gonna be better than henson then i'll agree untill then thats just an opinion and i doubt BP feels the same way.
