According to the trade value chart, we would be losing 190 pts of value, roughly the equivalent of a mid-to-low third round pick (or a 2nd round pick the following year). Seems a little ridiculous to lose value AND trade down.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

@BryanBroaddus Wolfe, Winn would be fallbacks in that round - Reyes won't be there at 45 - idea to move up in 2nd is to get in mix for DL

I could only buy into something like that if the trade vlaue made sense. The idea of trading down some, but remaing well into the 1st round, could work though.

I looked at this exact scenario earlier this year. I didn't love it. I would rather work a trade down and pick up a pick in the 2013 draft to balance any deal out, such as this. Makes little sense for us to trade down and get less value to me but whatever.

Is this some draft speculation or did it actually happen?

"I don't understand it Stephen, it's opening day 2014, where is everybody?"
