Default Just heard that NBC will not be flexing the Sunday Game with the Eagles on 12/2

Makes no sense at all that this game would not be flexed at all. Who wants to see Reid on the sideline looking depressed?

The Cowboys alone will draw big numbers. Besides, it's still arguably the best matchup of the day as far as drawing ratings. CBS is not going to give up Ravens-Steelers.

So two teams who are on the outside looking in the playoffs will draw more ratings than

The Bears and Seahawks who are two teams in the playoff picture??

Yep, an NBC executive was asked last week about flexing this game and his quote was, "Not in a million years." Remember, there might be implications to the Giants that involves that whole northeast corridor market along with the Cowboys makes it a stone cold lock.

Look no further than the LA market to see the continued draw of the Cowboys. With the ability to show any game in the NFL on Sunday they chose Cleveland/Dallas.

Yes.

It's the same reason why there is always Cowboy talk on national call in shows and all the Sunday morning shows.

Exactly right.

Love 'em or hate 'em, the Cowboys draw like nobody else.

I remember a Monday Night game with the winless Cowboys against the winless Redekins absolutely thrashing playoff baseball.

And outside of their home market, they will draw about 13 fans combined.

The ratings are going down each week. Cleveland and Atlanta both had better local ratings than the Cowboys when we played them. That hasn't happened in FOREVER.

Also, I'm glad it's not getting flexed. Noon games suck..3:15 games are better...night games are the BEST.
