I honestly don't get it
Coming into the season we all knew the areas with the biggest questions were the center of the OL and the center of the defense.
Well what did we find out about those questions?
Not a damned thing.
How could we? We are down to our 4th string center, the back up at guard, back up at NT, back up to the back up at DE and players off the street at inside LB and safety.
People are acting like we are in full 1989 mode and need to blow everything up.
It is laughable. We are a handful of plays from having 8 or 9 wins right now.

This is the problem. It's been going on every year since basically 2007.

I think you can actually say since 2005.

I think the reason for the panic is that this is still the same losing, undisciplined culture. Nothing feels different with this team. Still poor situational awareness, dumb penalties and mistakes.
I personally feel we may be wasting the careers of our younger guys by not blowing a few parts of the team up.

Jerry is that you? Quit building excuses. The Oline sucks but a real HC could have masked it a lot.

A real HC would have made Dez land in-bounds with out his fingers outside the goal line. Garrett blew that one. That was a sure win...but Garrett screwed up again.
A real HC would have made the kicker make a field goal to win the game...he screwed up again.
I could go on and on...but, yeah.
Right on, bro.

A real HC might have a two minute offense that doesnt waste 20+ seconds after a play.

No, but we wouldn't have been in that position down by 24 against the Giants and having to fight back once they blew JG's play book outta there. A real HC would have also not let 26 seconds run off to at least try and get closer for that kicker, bro.

I hear you...let's hope like hell they understand that and get it fixed.
Having to come from behind every game is not right, at all.

The handful away is just stupid. You are what your record says you are.
Sorry. I was only five numbers away from being a millionaire last night.
We tell the team we have to move on from success" JG Oh how they have done that.
I know that when we do not have the kind of success, when we don't have expectations lived up to, the one that should get the most heat is the one that ultimately makes the decisions, period, with the Dallas Cowboys. And that's me."

Well on those two points, Garrett's time management in the Baltimore game might have cost us a few precious yards that would have allowed the kick to be good.
Re the Giants' game, his lack of preparation helped us fall to a 23-0 deficit.
I know what you mean but if the coach isn't at fault for the slow starts or time management, who is?

Oh, bull.
The correct order was 1a) O-line, and 1b) secondary.
We spent big to fix the secondary and tried to piece the OL together with cheaper options. There's this thing called a "salary cap" that makes it impossible to sign anybody and everybody you want.
This seemed to be a sound strategy considering our offense was fairly strong as usual in 2011 while our D completely fell apart.
If you were optimistic about this season entering Week 1 (as many on this board were), guess what?
That means you believed the front office had put our team in a position to be successful.
I can't stand these Captain Hindsight types that come out after the fact and criticize moves just because they didn't happen to work out.
