Default Harry Carey Jr. Passes Away

One of my absolute favorite character actors. I got to meet him several years ago at the Scottsdale Festival of the West. A genuine nice guy.

Tonight I think I'll watch "Rio Grande" in his honor. He was the last survivor of the old John Ford stock of western characters.

Good night Harry.

His father asked John Wayne to take care of his kid and that's what John did.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

sometimes I wonder if being the last surviving of any group is all that great a thing.

You have buried all of your oldest and best friends.

What is there left for you?

I think he was the last one for like 20 years or something.
