NO! Too old, will get overpaid. Doesn't fit what this team needs. If they want to sign a situational pass rusher, they might as well keep Victor Butler

As much as I love Victor Butler, even as a situational pass rusher (provided it is on the cheap), he would be an upgrade over VBut.

Butler is a UFA, so even if he's not better...

I don't know why we'd want him. His role with the giants this year was limited so unless we got him cheap, to be backup.. but we need a starting, young stud pass rusher before that.

Pass.

Maybe as a situational pass rusher on the cheap, I'd rather them spend the money itd take to get him on spencer.

For the right price I'd do it. Not going to break the bank for him, though

I think he will want to come here and we will seriously consider it.

Do you think he can be signed to a cheaper contract or will he still be pushing for a big contract?

Maybe D Ware is willing to re-work his contract to bring him here. Doubt it, but stranger things have happened. Otherwise, I don't think his numbers are in the ballpark for what the Cowboys would have in mind.
