Default Tradeless Draft.....

Who would have thought that this draft would have such a lack of trades, especially significant ones? I would have bet money on at least one big trade, or that Dallas might have done some type of significant trade (not that they needed to with their positioning), but it never happened.

A couple teams who I think asked too much in trying to trade players and only hurth themselves are:

Travis Henry, Bills - Now they are stuck with him and will most likely get little or nothing in return. Should have done the second or third rounder for him.

Darius Donovan, Jacksonville - I guess he will hold out now

Darren Howard, NO - Could have gotten something but will most likely lose him next year and have to deal w/the salary cap in the mean time.

OL, Arizona - Forgot his name, but was rumored to be a straight up trade w/the Bills for Henry. Nothing happened.

Charles Woodson, Oak - Why do they still have him? Should have at least tried to unload him to some CB hungry team. Maybe too late now...

S. Alexander, SEA - Not sure if there were any teams interested in the first place.

E. James, IND - Not sure if there were any teams interested in the first place.

And just to mention....

Pete Hunter, Dal- Not really a biggie cause his contract is minimal and their may have been no takers considering he might be cut anyways.

Good Tracker of trades in this years draft:

And again, after looking at the tracker with the TB and CLE trade, Simms won't be around TB for long.

It seemed that everyone thought that the talent was distributed this year, that there wasn't a player worth trading up to get. Some just hoped that certain players would fall to them, but they weren't willing to trade up to get them. There were only three or four cases where someone seemed to trade up to get a single player, and it wasn't much of a trade up----three or four places.

I had been saying that I did not think that many trades would take place and got rolling eyes each time.
